Interesting and stimulating course material. Lively teaching. Plenty of opportunity to listen, speak and think in German. Pleasant surroundings, with opportunities to go on group visits and excursions if required. I felt really at home and had a very enjoyable time in my accommodation, it was comfortable and conveniently near the S-Bahn direct to the centre of Berlin. I had a thoroughly enjoyable week, totally immersed in German language, history and culture. I certainly met my targets in terms of language-learning and confidence-building, and also made some new friends. I had a great time!

The best thing has obviously been the number of people of different nationalities you know. The atmosphere that is breathed in the school is quite good. The location and facilities of the same meet the expectations: fantastic!

It was a super nice experience! The lessons were top notch, varied and of a high standard, and people also attach great importance to conversation. The atmosphere in the classroom was very good and there was a mix of many nationalities (Swiss, Spaniards, Italians, Russians, Czechs, ..). My host family was great and they gave me a lot of freedom and if there was anything I could easily address them. If I had to give something of a downside it would be the activities, sometimes you had 3 hours of free time in a town where there is not much to see. If I made the trip again I might go for 3 weeks. The most important thing is that you dare to speak and just talk to people. I would recommend going alone, so you commit yourself to making friends from other countries. It was certainly an experience to remember!

My first language trip was a super experience! I can really recommend it. Location and quality of the school is top notch, accommodation 'residence' was also good, a super location.

My experience in Perugia has turned out to be much better than I imagined; I have learned a lot, both from the language and the Italian culture, and I have met a lot of interesting people of different nationalities. As for the school, I have been very well received by the Linguistic Comitato and all its teachers, as well as by the family with whom I have lived for 3 weeks.

Nice city, Salthill. Very calm. Galway is 2km away for a beautiful walk. Galway is very lively and touristy. Salthill is quieter but has bars, restaurants, supermarkets. The experience I loved. I hope to return

If you want to learn German and at the same time experience a beautiful experience Regensburg is the city for you! My experience at the Horizonte is unforgettable. The teachers are exceptional and very patient, you can breathe a nice atmosphere. Furthermore, the activities organized by the school make the stay in Regensburg even more enjoyable. Now I have friends in Poland, Switzerland, England and even Japan! I will return without a shadow of a doubt.

My positive and uninhibited attitude has been the key to take advantage, and enjoy this experience of an English course abroad. My 2 weeks in Montpellier were super fun. I did not dare to book in advance because I was afraid that I would not like it, but afterwards I would have liked to stay longer. Do not be afraid that you are alone or know nobody because making contact is really super easy through the activities and just in the classroom itself. It is especially nice that you come into contact with people of different nationalities. For example, I was with Australian, American, Swiss, Irish, Japanese students and more. ILA is right in the center and has 3 different locations. The classes are small (7 to 8 people) so you get a lot of personal attention. The students were also very motivated because it is of course a voluntary course. The intensive lessons are mainly focused on talking (so no grammar) so I can definitely recommend that if you have difficulty speaking. I had gone down one level for the intensive lessons because I found it difficult to speak. Changing levels is very easy, by the way, so if you find it too easy / difficult, that's no problem.
The morning (standard) lessons were mainly grammar and writing. But of course you also speak French there all the time.

When I came to my class on the first day of class, I noticed that everyone spoke French much better even though we were all on the same level. This is because you enter a class that already exists. Some students have been there for a month or a few weeks. They are already much more used to speaking French because it was a bit strange in the beginning that everything was French. But you get used to that.

My host family was also super friendly. Every morning a breakfast was ready and every evening I could sit down for dinner. The first week I was alone with the host family but the second week an Irish student joined. That is of course nice (although we spoke more English than French, oops). I had to take the bus for about half an hour to get to ILA from my stay.

I have to say that 2 weeks was really too short for me to really learn a lot, but I certainly have an experience richer.
I can definitely recommend you to do a French course in Montpellier. It is not only educational but also great fun. If I could do it again, I would definitely want to go for about three months !!

Lila is a super English school with really friendly and helpful staff.
The paramount as accommodation is terrible and dirty. They do nothing for changing the situation. I moved in the liberty garden. This accommodation is a basic one, but clean.

Malta is a fascinating island full of history, enchanting natural landscapes and people from all over the world. The only flaw is that they are building too much and badly: a real pity.

So far, one of the greatest experience of my life! Even though I’m Canadian, I never had the chance to improve my English as much as I did when I was in Malta.

It was the first time I traveled alone and to study. I had my fears, but everything was great, the pick up at the airport, door to door, the family with whom I was very friendly and kind. The impressive house, in a residential area and with the bus next ... I made my holidays and at the same time I improved my learning. In the mornings I went to class then I would eat in the city, in search of unique places, sometimes with my classmates and sometimes alone because I felt like it and I would go through the city in the afternoon. I visited museums, churches, flea markets and on the bicycle left by the owners of the house, I went through the Aasee channel for many kilometers. The experience was unique and if I have an opportunity, next year I will return ...

Montreal is a beautiful city, like all the other Canadian cities I've visited.
The school is in a beautiful location, right in the center, a stone's throw from the metro station and close to many shops and restaurants.
Thanks to the various activities I met new girls with whom I tied and I found myself very well, we often went out together and we had so much fun. In the middle of the stay I regretted having chosen to do only 2 weeks, because I fell in love with Montreal and Canada and I was sorry to leave my friends!

This was my first experience completely alone, without the group with which they usually take the study holidays and I must say that it was really very nice not to hear Italian spoken around me for a while !!
The only big problem I had was the last day at the airport due to the postponement of my entire day's flight, but then everything was resolved!

The experience was new for me and my children and I have to say that I really enjoyed it. I did a program for adults for a week and the classes were according to my expectations, maybe I lost more talking between classmates. We had a wide range of excursions in the afternoon with very good prices, the guides spoke English and it was very comfortable for me to improve my English.

Living in a country with a language different from yours is always a good experience. Classes also complement and reinforce language learning. My experience with LSI Portsmouth has been positive. There is no fixed weekly program, but it allows the lessons to be adapted to the students' needs and needs. I am very satisfied with the result.

Exeter is a very good option to study a language course, since it is not a very large city and has all the comforts. On the main street you can find all kinds of shops and it is only ten minutes from the school. In addition there are quite a few areas where you can sit and relax, as it is a very quiet city.

My name is Anna and for 1 week I was part of that varied and huge world of the “eramsus” staff.
As an experience it was really beautiful and I invite everyone to participate in this project which, even if short, can mark one's life, not only as regards the professional sphere but also and above all, as regards the social and relational sphere.
I was in Dublin, Ireland for 1 week and I have no regrets, I had the opportunity to understand how people from another European country live, I was able to do a "virtual comparison" that opened new doors for me to understand better.
Dublin was a wonderful discovery for me, a young, cheerful and multi-ethnic city, it offers a variety of cultural and entertainment possibilities, it is clear that it is a very important center for Ireland.
I admit that it is important to find accommodation already from Italy. I stayed in the school residence, Beckett House Dublin. Beckett House is a brand new student residence located in the center of Dublin, less than 10 minutes walk from the school. Each classic apartment has 8 single bedrooms with private bathrooms, a large living room and a fully equipped kitchen.
As for the English part of the course, I would like to state that I have not heard anyone who did not have any problems with English, however all the teachers were up to the task. I think the quality of the course is excellent, although at a beginner level.

As for socialization, I appeal, especially to those who, maybe they will start alone and are a bit skeptical, do not worry about making friends immediately, a few days are enough and you already meet people too with the same initial problems and will become all certainly simpler and more fun.
I met a lot of people, who somehow changed my view of the world.

I met so many wonderful people at the school and my Spanish improved significantly! It's located very centrally in Cusco and everything is at a walking distance. The professors are lovely, and there are a lot of activities to do! I did the program in the sacred valley, and it was AMAZING! 10/10 would recommend!

My week in Perugia was a very nice experience! Nice city and nice lessons at the language school. Also special to be a guest under and to experience Italian life up close. It was fun and well cared for by Graziella. In 3 days you of course cannot learn enough to be able to manage in Italian. So I will continue in the Netherlands and maybe back to Perugia next year.

Andrew: You've been here for two weeks, but what was the decision process that brought you here?

Paul: I started to realize in the summer that I wanted to improve my English, my fluency and gain more confidence in English, so I decided in the summer that I would like to follow a course. With my job it is quite difficult as there is always the pressure of the work itself, so the first thing was to find time. February in the Netherlands has a lot of holidays so relatively speaking it's a quiet period. Secondly I needed to decide where? I decided that in terms of effectiveness it would be better to do it in a native speaking country instead of just doing it in the Netherlands.

Andrew: Why?

“Paul: Someone told me that following a course and stay in a host family in England is the most effective way to make the improvement. If you stay at home you are always disturbed with emails, etc., but I wanted to give priority to the language.

Andrew: How did you find LSI Portsmouth?

“Paul: When I started searching for courses on the internet, there was a huge variety of possibilities, so someone suggested I should go through Study Travel! I had never heard of them, so my secretary called Study Travel who gave me several options, one of them in London one of them at LSI, they were very positive about LSI in terms of quality and teachers and also with a good match with a host family.

Andrew: How did you do this? Was it an interview on the phone?

Paul: It was all by phone, all in Dutch, about my requirements not my level. I was thinking about London. London is the place to be, visit museums etc, but then I started to realize it's about my language. If you really want to be successful, if you really want to give priority to the language, the city itself is not the most important thing, so I decided on LSI because of the combination of the reputation of the institute and the option of having a good match with the host family.

Andrew: So what type of things did they ask you about, your objectives, what type of course, what type of host family?

Paul: Yeah it was very professional, so Erika from Study Travel asked me several questions. Because I am more or less well known in the Netherlands it is not difficult to explain who I am. It was important to explain what I wanted to achieve and what my goals were, and it was important to match the host family. She gave me good advice and suggested a host family that were a retired couple who were interested in all kind of social, global and international things.

Andrew: Did Erika get it right for you?

Paul: Without any doubt, she got it right. Now I am nearly at the end of the course, I have to say I am tired, I have worked hard, but I have made some progress as well in terms of vocabulary, and confidence. You start thinking in English, which is important. With the course we started at 8:00 in the morning. It is intensive, then it's conversation with the homestay, then homework. The days are long and intensive but the focus is the language and that is the most important thing.

Andrew: You took a super intensive course, 25 hours plus an additional 5 hours and executive lunches, you have a homestay family, you speak English when you do the social program. Was the course too intensive, would you have preferred 5 hours a day?

Paul: I am used to working quite hard. I was very satisfied with the first week, then there was the start of the second week, the second week was more intensive than I expected.

Andrew: Outside work you are a sportsman and keep fit? But not so much sport this week, was the balance right?

Paul: Compared to the Netherlands yes a little less, but I did four runs, running along the seashore and that's nice, into the wind and with the wind on my back because my host family lives five minutes from the sea.

Andrew: What kind of city or city is Portsmouth? Is it what you expected?

Paul: I visited the old town in the first week in the evening and the shopping mall, close to the ships; I walked around a little and got the impression of the place close to the harbor and the sea. Honestly speaking I can't give a very detailed description about Portsmouth, but this is a city that is easy to survive here, there are nice restaurants, nice shops, the location of this institute is close to the center. In the end I am glad I decided to come here instead of London.

Andrew: We tried to personalize the program to suit your specific needs, do you feel we got it right?

Paul: Definitely, I think LSI did a perfect job, the program was personalized. The program touched on different issues related to education and subjects I brought up. There was a huge variety of subjects we discussed, there was the focus on presentations, debates, negotiations, sharing meetings these things are important in my work, not that often in a foreign language, but a good way to make further improvement and so it was definitely personalized, different teachers with a different perspective.

Andrew: Would you have preferred to be in a small group like some of the other students here?

Paul: No, no I took the decision to do 1: 1, it is very intensive, but without doubt it was the right decision, I think it is intensive, but it was good.

Andrew: On your first morning when you were interviewed by Lea for your objectives. We just train English language but confidence and skills and fluency etc. What were your key objectives when you started and how do you feel about them now.

Paul: My two key objectives were to gain confidence, because I always had the feeling that my English was not good enough, confidence is essential to make sure you make further improvements. Secondly was the fluency, and thirdly to broaden my vocabulary.

Andrew: And how do you feel now?

Paul: The most important is the confidence, I had the idea that I could speak at a certain level. You call it advanced; I sometimes have my doubts about that. (Andrew and Sue: "trust us it is!") One of the teachers showed me something, which was good for self confidence; I gave a presentation, he counted the pauses and the errors, he said "during 6 minutes you made" slips / mistakes "so in terms of pauses and fluency it was 99% correct ;-)

Andrew: Do you feel more confident now, and listening and speaking in English is more natural.

Paul: There is still a long way to go. I can say your teachers taught me a lot, I learned a lot, I did my best, they invested in me, I invested in myself. But in the end in terms of confidence and fluency I definitely made progress.

Andrew: What is your best memory of Portsmouth?

Paul: Depends on your level but my experience is if you really think you have a problem with confidence, go there they can help you. It's really a major advantage to go to a country where they speak the language. It's the lessons at the institute, the conversation at home, the conversation with the students, watching the news in English. I would definitely recommend doing it the way I did, I can also recommend your institute because I am very satisfied.

Andrew: What would you suggest to a future student from Holland about their options, where they go, what type of course?

Paul: I would say to someone like myself, go to a good school recommended by organizations like Study Travel, with a good reputation. Forget about whether it is a nice city, go for the language, give priority to the language. I'll never forget LSI, or the host family in the city.

Andrew: Paul, it's been such a pleasure having you study here, thank you so much for speaking to us here and allowing us to print this - we now hope to get pots and pots of students on the back of this, so we are incredibly grateful to you.

I really enjoyed my French language course in Rouen. The teaching method and course materials matched my learning preference exactly. The teachers were professional and very nice. I had taken the intensive course of 5 hours a day and beforehand I doubted whether it might not be too much, but the hours and days flew by. In the morning we had lessons more focused on grammar and in the afternoon focused on French culture and customs. And all the time in French language.
The host family was perfect, a very nice couple, delicious food, cozy clean room, and only 2 minutes from the school!

end of Feb. to 19.03. The "Falles" are celebrated in Valencia: It's colorful and loud, especially the "Mascleta" every day at 2 p.m.: loud banging on the town hall square and also in parks and alleys. Personally, it was too loud for me at the time. Otherwise, the school is perfectly organized, the teachers are great and the lessons are varied. I would do it again, but only from the end of March.????

The teachers at the language school taught a lot more than just vocabulary and grammar. It was very humorous and true to life. Special features and differences in mentality and language use were conveyed, as were current topics.
Life in the host family helps with everyday language use and gives new impetus and incentives. Similarities and differences have created a new friendship.
Overall a perfect week for me!

I was very satisfied with the school and the teachers. The lessons were very varied and the teachers were very motivated. It was fun.

I gained a lot of impressions and insights. The 14 days were great, despite the first 4 days in constant rain. The school was excellent, the teachers and all the staff are very motivated, attentive and I had a lot of fun. My classmates came from Switzerland, USA, Finland, Sweden, Amsterdam, Germany... a really diverse group. We laughed a lot and learned well as a team :-). I was able to use the beginner's knowledge of Italian I had brought with me and deepen it a little. The afternoon activities were varied and always well organized. Sights, city tours, cooking classes, workshop tours, film afternoon. Many different courses, there is something for everyone. My host family Genoveffa and Raffaelle were super nice and caring, my room there was very big and nice. Salerno is a beautiful city and a very good starting point for exploring other towns and cities by bus and train.
I was completely satisfied with my 14-day language trip and will remember it for a long time.

I was at the Malaca Institute for 2 weeks and really enjoyed it! The teachers were really nice and motivated to teach. The PowerPoints that were used during the lessons were also very creative and clearly explained!
The students came from all over the world and it was a very interesting experience to meet so many new people.
The pool right by the institute is a dream and just right for a refreshing dip after class!
All in all it was a great experience that I would recommend to everyone!!

I lived in a very nice family with two other students. It was very interesting to get to know different cultures. It is also very easy to find friends as everyone is very open-minded.

Perfect way to learn Spanish, get to know a new city/country and get in touch with people from all over the world. Medellin surprised me positively as a city, but also the nature around it... absolutely amazing. All in all, good experience!

The reception and the lessons exceeded my expectations. The classrooms are equipped with the latest infrastructure and the teachers are absolutely TOP!

I really enjoyed my stay in Dublin. The mix of "school" and "holiday" was perfect. In just one week I was able to improve my language skills a lot and at the same time got to know a great city. I would do it again anytime :)

'French in Normandy' is a school where many nationalities come together. A hospitable school where, even if you are only there for 1 week, they know you by name! A school where you can completely immerse yourself in the French language and culture. Rouen is very rich in history.

There are many long-term students at IH Dublin, but even as a "short-term participant" you immediately feel accepted into the community. The course participants, teachers and administrative staff are very friendly and helpful. The lessons at IH Dublin consist largely of practical application (conversation and group or partner work), in between there are units in which grammar and vocabulary are taught, which are then immediately consolidated in exercises. The topics covered are also very practical and contemporary. I liked this learning concept and I also felt that I was assigned to a suitable class in terms of language level.

The school building is in a good location and is quite nice, the roof terrace is particularly great. The water dispenser is a positive feature. However, the technical equipment could be better and the chairs (at least in my classroom) are not ideal for sitting for hours. I liked the fact that IH Dublin regularly offers a "social program" - a great opportunity for newcomers in particular to make contacts and go on nice trips or events together, such as the school's annual conference. B. to experience a pub quiz. I personally took part in the orientation tour on the first afternoon. This takes you to the most important and interesting places in the city center and you get useful information.

I really enjoyed the week in Dublin and I returned with lots of new impressions and refreshed language skills.

I went on a 2-week language trip to Madrid and loved it. The location of the school and the accommodation were great, I also really enjoyed the lessons and, above all, my language skills improved significantly. I would definitely recommend booking individual lessons as I spoke the most there. However, I also found the group sizes in the group courses to be appropriate. The accommodation was directly opposite the language school. The accommodation in the residence was good, the rooms were simple, the bathrooms were clean and you could use the kitchen. I would do it again and again!

I had the absolute best time at the Good Hope language school. Apart from the beautiful country, the school was simply great. All the staff and students were incredibly kind and helpful. In general, it felt like being part of a big family.
All courses are individually designed according to the students' wishes, which means you can really achieve your goal.
My host family was also a dream. In addition to me, the retired couple had 5 other students in their house, which also created an international extended family here. I always had the opportunity to get involved in family life or to say that I would prefer my own space.
The great thing about the school and the host family was that I never felt alone during my trip. If I had any problems or just wanted to chat, there was always someone there.
I can only recommend the program to everyone! It was an unforgettable time & I met great people.

It was so nice to meet new people. The school was very nice and we learned a lot of new things, but the activities with the leaders were the most fun.

I would recommend a language trip to another country to everyone. I have met people from all over the world and from all stages of life. We explored the Amalfi Coast together, studied together, simply enjoyed a relaxing day on the beach and so much more. I would recommend a school near the coast, especially in summer.

Everything was very well organized through Studytravel. I had a lot of fun and it's really easy to meet new people. In my opinion, the lessons are very good and tailored to your language level. The apartments are also very relaxed and I never had any problems with my roommates. I would definitely go there alone because you get to know new people really quickly, all of whom are also traveling alone.

I stayed for 4 weeks at the School with a host family. I had an amazing time in Valencia and got the opportunity to experience a city on my own while getting to know many people with different cultures and origins. I was always treated kindly by everyone, be it the guest family or the staff/teachers of the school. The School offers different activities through their own app, which you are able to book and take part in. There are free activities but also priced ones, although at a fair sum. My experience at the activities I participated in was great. I met a lot of nice people there, with whom I hung out even in our free time. Overall I really can't complain about anything and I would definitely go to Valencia again.

An inspiring experience, a good teacher, fun extra activities and lessons in a nice group. With my host family I was lucky: well cared for and the same interests. Worth repeating.

I did the super intensive course which was hard going but very good, I learnt a lot and enjoyed the style of teaching in particular the use of many synonyms and the oral activities. We had a behind the scenes visit to the theatre which was excellent. My apartment was well located, clean, quiet and spacious.

Excellent from beginning to end wish I had booked for longer. It was a fulfilling adventure and the other students and staff couldn't have been more helpful. My smile began on the Sunday and didn't leave my face until I returned home!! I had a wonderful five days, I am going to return when I have the time until then I shall be putting into practice all that I absorbed. Very kind hosts and comfortable accommodation.

The language course was excellent. Two different teachers therefore two different experiences. The subject material covered was interesting and cultural. Plenty of opportunity to speak despite there being 18 in the class. Lots of encouragement given and grammar points covered. Lots of listening extracts. Excursions were available to book. Other facilities such as vending machines, toilets etc were also good. I would defintely recommend this school.

Second week was better than the first but I really liked the day we were sent into the downtown marketplace for an assignment with a partner. It was fun and made us get out of our comfort zone! I enjoyed the classes a lot and would definitely return to the Antibes school. We stayed with Dominique Negro in Antibes and she was the best hostess ever...very helpful, fantastic meals and we have made a lifetime friend! she went out of her way to help us and I am ready for her to adopt me!

The course was a fantastic experience and was great for improving my French and my confidence. The classes were relaxed but great for building up vocabulary. The host family was very friendly and made a real effort to make me feel happy and at home. The activities organised by the school were good fun and were a great way to get to know all the other international students attending the course.

The teachers and support staff were beyond excellent. They were innovative, friendly, and just plain great teachers. truly learned German and by the end of my two weeks I could converse in German in every day situations. Loved the course, the students, and the instructors. First class!!

My course was appropriate to my level, the teacher was very good at explaining and making the lesson fun. My opinion is very positive. I stayed with a family who hosted me. The family was very welcoming and helpful extremely nice, they treated me like a family member making my stay very pleasant. I would add that it was an experience I will refer in the future, I recommend this school because it's really good.

The best course I have ever had. Great teachers in terms skill and humor, and lovely office lady. Very good homestay. Close to school, hospitable host and good accommodation. Faro might be a very good place for study. Small town but still lots to enjoy so I didnt get bored.Convinient transport to all coast cities and Seville. Very nice local people who always smile and respond in portugues if you want to practise your portuguese with them.

Language course is excellent (a different theme per week), very skilled teacher (also an examiner for DELF / DALF), and the staff at the school very helpful. My host mother was very flexible in terms of food and times. She enjoyed talking in French and showing the area. Biarritz is small but very laid back.

The course was great. Teacher was patient, helpful, and really cared about the students. I will use this language school again in the future. One of the best I have used. Stayed with a host nation family. Accommodations were great. This experience allowed me to practice what I learned in school and be completely immersed in the langauage.

I enrolled in an "intensive" course. I do well on multiple choice tests and was probably in a class above my real level as a result. My morning "standard class" teacher was superb - highly organized, high energy, good to work with. I stayed with a host family - two women. The room was adequate, the food was fantastic. My hostesses had the Provencal accent in full flower, which was a little bit of extra challenge for a learner, but not a big problem.

I did enjoy my course, I thought the level of teaching was very high! The teacher (Frau Claudia) showed the high standard of professional teaching for foreigners. Very satisfied! I only would like to say big thank you to my teacher, Frau Claudia!!!

I had one to one course and my two teachers were very knowledgeable and friendly. Munich is a very nice city and the location of the school right in the middle of the "altstadt" is great.

My stay in Perugia was very nice. The school was central. The teachers teach very clearly and are very friendly. Even outside of school, they are willing to do something fun together. For example, two teachers arranged a dinner on their own initiative for anyone who wanted it. Super cozy! If it is possible, try to take lessons for at least two weeks. After one week you start to get a feel for the language. The food is very tasty in Perugia and the view is beautiful. It is a small city that makes you feel at ease very quickly.

The classes were well structured and interesting so I gained a lot during my time in Paris.

The staff is always friendly and helpful. My instructors were very good and were always ready to help out when I was confused or had questions about the lessons. Lots of fun. I will definitely be back....hopefully next year. A Bientot!

I felt that the course was excellent and that I have increased my knowledge of the German language. The teacher was well versed and explained everything in a manner which was easily understood. The host family was very accommodating and helped me in every way possible. They conversed with me in German and increased my understanding of the German way of life. The school in Regensburg has an excellent program for students after class and on the weekends. I have attended other courses and this one was the best one of all. The variety of free time programs was excellent.

I really love it. I was amazed by the teacher. The introduction of the grammar was very smooth not intimidating at all. In 5 days I could speak; read and write some German. I hope to go-back soon!

A very positive experience, my first steps at learning German. The organisation of the course was excellent and the welcome from the language school was very warm. Basic German course - class with 4 other students in the morning, individual calsses in the afternoon on 4 days. Morning classes were well structured, afternoon more improvised but made much more progress. Overall good standard of teaching.

My language trip was really a very nice experience! I spent four weeks in the heart of Lisbon, my room was very close to school and the fellow students were very cool.

I attended the Begginners Italian Course for 2 weeks. The teaching methods were exclent and I have learnt so much about the structure and grammar of the Italian language I am going to continue my studies in Australia when I return home.

The teachers were excellent. The extra-curricular programme was also excellent, especially the trip to Mount Etna. I was made very welcome in my host family. Even though I paid for just bed and breakfast I was invited to have dinner three times. I was very happy with my room and particularly because there was air conditioning. I have done many courses in many languages and the garden of the school was really better than any outdoor social area I have experienced to date.I also liked that there was a really broad age range of people attending the course.

I was very pleased with the teachers and with the variety of materials and methods used. The combination of group lessons in the morning and private in the afternoon worked well for me. I just wish I could have stayed longer!

This was a great experience, the only negative is that there were 14 people in the class and it was a bit hard (and occasionally quite noisy) but the teachers were very skilled and managed it well. The two teachers I had (Veronica and Elisabetta) were really excellent.

I had a very inspiring week. Aix is a beautiful old town, the school is a 10-minute walk from the center. I stayed with a very friendly and interested couple with whom I had breakfast (in the evening I didn't eat with them). The school is very well organized, with lots of nice teachers who know very well how to keep everyone involved, to get to know each other and to raise topics that move everyone (also for thought). Social topics that are interesting for all nationalities. A challenge every day. I was in a class with 9 different nationalities, divided at the same level.
I had a wonderful week and hope to come back soon.

The language trip was unforgettable! The English culture seems to be close to the Dutch, but practice proves that this is totally not the case. The people here are festive, patient and polite. The lessons you get in Liverpool are very appropriate in practice (it really helps you!)

I loved the course with everything around it! Nice people, nice country. All the different nationalities there in Malta are absolutely amazing. For me personally, the only downside is the class, it was super fun, but personally I prefer to choose a private teacher since I only went 2 weeks and with a private teacher I could have filled the time more efficiently. 2 weeks in a class with 12 people is too short to get enough information. But that is a choice that you can make yourself, I recommend it to everyone.

There is no better way to learn a language than in the county, immersing yourself in the culture, food, music, lifestyle etc. of the local people. I adored my time in Portugal and am already planning another study abroad course for next year.

I liked it a lot, I have improved my English level very much and I have made friends of many different nationalities. I hope to return next year.

Montpellier is a beautiful old student city. Many festivals are organized in the summer and the beach is 45 minutes away by public transport. The language school is located in the heart of the city, in a beautiful old building where you will receive friendly assistance. I had to do a placement test in advance. I started at the right level. The host family had a good location, nice room, but I didn't speak much French there. Maarja that varies a lot per family.

Fun and exciting trip for our family consisting of father, mother and 2 children (13 and 14 years old). The courses we followed were: for the children, a teacher and business English course in Exeter. The nice thing is that the 3 types of courses are available in one place - the historic capital of Devon, England. The curriculum offers sufficient variety and is taught by several skilled teachers. In addition to learning, there is sufficient time for relaxation; during the breaks you can exchange with other students and the excursions are worthwhile. The host family where all four of us were able to go through the pleasant conversations provided a glimpse into coincidentally 3 generations of English: in addition to the hostess her mother and 2 daughters were (partly) present. Exeter has a historic center and is worth a visit.

My language trip to New York was perfect! I have been able to improve my English, get to know the city well and have met many new people!

My experience has been very enriching not only with reference to the language, but also with respect to the people and their culture.

I spent a week on campus in Antibes (France). This language trip was a good experience for me of what it is like to be among all kinds of nationalities. It is so cozy and you learn a lot about everyone's cultures! The atmosphere on campus is very nice and everything is well taken care of. The lessons are very clear and you will be helped well! There is a lot of freedom to plan your own activities, but you can join the main activities with the whole group every afternoon. Furthermore, two tips: are you going to a campus? Make sure your English is good enough to communicate, otherwise making friends on campus will be difficult. (Everyone is very nice and no one's English is perfect so no fear) further, if you really want to improve your French, make sure you go longer than one week, or book the course intensively (or both). A week is really not enough to improve your French. It is very worthwhile to take a language trip! Lots of fun :)

My experience at Bels School was wonderful. I'm so happy with all: school, mates, family, local people, food, sun, beaches, villages.

I liked it a lot because you make many new friends of different nationalities and you learn a lot of English ... so you practice the two important languages. I really liked rafting. And surfing too.

Belfast is not too big a city that you get to know quickly. You will find an interesting history and beautiful nature in the mountains just outside the city. The school is also very 'pleasant', a positive atmosphere and many fun activities. My week in Belfast was very good!

The stay in Perugia was like a dream. The school, the activities. the enchanting city, the host family, the warmth of the Italians, the food, the culture and,,, combined to create an unforgettable experience. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to do something good to themselves.

Dublin was a very nice destination! The lessons were educational and fun, the food was tasty too.
I liked the activities and also because there were 2 a day, you could sometimes choose what you wanted to do. I got to know many nice children and I still have contact with most of them.

I had a wonderful week in Rouen. A week was too short for me to master the French language. I was in a host family. The school is only a minute's walk from the host family. Pierre and Nicole (host family) are really very nice and helpful people. The room is neat and the food (evening) is very extensive. The teachers at school are nice and helpful. All in all recommended.

So nice that you did not have to worry about anything, everything was arranged in perfect detail! It was so scary for me to go traveling alone, but this helped me a lot! Very happy that I did it. It was really an adventure that I will not forget all my life!

I have had very good experience at the IFAlpes school in Annecy. The teachers are very professional and also close. Apart from helping you with the topics related to the classes, they are always willing to lend a hand with any topic outside the school. I have learned a lot, and apart from that, I have very good friends from many different nationalities. The school is in the center, close to all the places of interest in the city, which is beautiful.

Although I had (only) a week of lessons, I learned a lot!

Moreover, I received a lot of energy from the lessons and the interaction with my fellow students!

My 4 weeks in Granada flew by! It was a very nice experience. The school was fantastic: the location was perfect, the teachers were very nice and the lessons were good. I learned more than expected in 4 weeks so that was very positive. Granada is also a city with free tapas and a fantastic environment. I recommend it to everyone!

Every trip is different for everyone. Don't let others' stories guide you, just do it!

I found Dublin a beautiful, pleasant and uncluttered city with many cozy pubs. The teachers were very nice and there was a good atmosphere. All in all a super nice time and met a lot of nice new people from all over the world. I would have liked to stay much longer!

Somewhere far away that French language skills were still there, it turned out during this week. So after five mornings of French lessons, everything came up again. Listening, talking, reading in French: I turned out to be the best. Thanks to an enthusiastic teacher, who paid attention to all parts and thanks to a nice (and driven) group of people from all over the world who were in my class. A week is not long, but enough to dust off all the old knowledge and skills. So educational, and very fun to do. I enjoyed it.

My first language trip to Spain club 50+ was a special experience. The mix of morning lessons and then various activities is a fantastic way to get to know both the country and your fellow students.
The contact with fellow students from different countries with different cultures was fascinating and interesting.
Nerja is a beautiful and relaxed city to stay.
My stay with a host family was a good way to get acquainted with daily Spanish life and to practice the Spanish language.
The two locations of la Escuela de idiomas Nerja are very beautiful. Beautiful garden and patio to enjoy during the break.
I enjoyed it and will definitely do it again.

The program in Valencia was wonderful! I had great teachers that were really interested in tailoring our language course to what was important to the students that they were teaching. There were daily activities that included sports, flamenco, and different types of tours. I highly recommend Valencia to anyone who loves the city and like beaches, too.

Aix-en-Provence is a very nice cozy beautiful place. You feel very relaxed and you are really welcome to be there.
Not only nature, environment is beautiful, but there is a beautiful museum, where a number of real Picasso hangs, and also in the month of July is Music Festival. I felt throughout the city that Cezanne was present. We only had to speak French at school, and that was really good for me. A nice class of different ages, nationality, socializing with each other. Nice, good teachers, who certainly made contact for everyone. I think I want to go again next year.

It was really great fun in Malta. In addition to improving my English, you have also been able to learn a lot about the country itself and see the most beautiful places. This makes it a lot of fun. You are not only busy with school but you have the opportunity to follow various activities. Here too you can apply your English and this form of learning English is great fun!

It was two wonderful weeks, to remember all of life. The teaching model is good, and it has allowed me to catch up on my level of French. The family and their treatment could not be better, and the professional teachers. I will try to return next summer !!!!

This was my second time in a language trip to Malta. It was even better than last time! I was now in the Young Adults group (17-20), last time I was a 'Teen'. I can recommend everyone of this age to join this group. Many things are arranged for you. But the leaders also often said; what you do is your own choice and responsibility. I found this very pleasant. You were not tied to the program (because you were allowed to choose whether you would like to go). Because of this I am also going out a few myself. With some friends I went to Paradise Bay one morning and to Valletta the other day. If you are concerned about whether or not you should go on your own, I would recommend that you just go on your own. I went on my own and of course in the beginning it is very exciting! But you notice that many people come on their own and that you make contact with new people faster. You also get a lot of opportunity to meet new people: your roommates with whom you sleep in a room, during classes, at school and during organized activities. After a few days I already had a very nice group of friends with people from: Russia, Germany, Spain, Slovenia, Switzerland and Denmark. Because it is so international, your English also becomes much smoother. You now only speak English outside of the lessons. It is also very interesting to interact with people from different cultures. This way you get to know your friends but also their countries better.
Public transport and the use of taxis, for example, going out is easy to do. The residents are friendly and you can expect all help from the school and group leaders where necessary.
All in all, if you have the chance to go here: grab it with both hands because this was a really great experience for me that I will never forget!

After a long wait, it was finally time and I went to Malta from July 30 to August 12 to do an English language course there. I would like to thank you for all the information that was sent to me in advance. It matched exactly with what was about to happen to me and it made it very easy to search for the ESE stand at Malta International Airport. Here we only got more information. I have therefore never been unclear. I loved the freedom we were given as Young Adult students. It was wonderful to be able to go your own way, but if you wanted to be able to participate in the activities. The school there was always there for you, even when it was about things that the school had little to do with. (for example how you could come back in the night after going out to the hotel). I never felt unsafe for a single moment and I was able to enjoy it immensely. This was certainly my best vacation ever and in addition my English has improved enormously in two weeks. I went from level B2 to C2.3 in two weeks. I now have friends all over Europe with whom I will definitely meet. I already miss Malta and all my friends there and I really want to return as soon as possible. So I certainly think that I will go here again. And then I will definitely book through you again. The price / quality ratio is perfect and everything is super organized and organized. Also at school there they knew how to communicate well both to you and to me (this was necessary when I wanted to go snorkeling.) I will even miss all my group leaders there as they were very young and therefore perfectly suited to this group . Studytravel and ESE thanks!

Unfortunately I could only go to school for 1 week. I had a great time there! Staying overnight with the host family was also fine. That way I could practice my English more and I immediately got information about the island.
Because I have to follow a diet, I had to pay extra for the food. The food was fine in itself, but I found it disproportionate to what I had paid for it.

Found it a very nice experience. In the beginning it was really difficult and I wondered if the level wasn't too high for me. Still I stayed in that class, changing was possible, but in 2 weeks I learned a lot. To really learn French is longer recommended. Host family was really an added value, nice people and very friendly. Also met many different nationalities from Japanese, Chinese to Colombian, Norwegian and Spanish. It is advisable to take a chatter with you because the teaching material consists of a lot of loose leaves which you otherwise cannot find after 3 days.

The city is lovely. The apartments are big. There are lots of opportunities for practising oral and listening but less focus on grammar. Stay at least two weeks is a must.

I had a super educational time in bristol! Everything was well organized and I immediately felt at home. I would have liked to have stayed longer to learn the language and culture even more. Thank you studytravel!

In September 2017 I went to San Diego for four weeks for my language trip. This was one of my best decisions ever. So for the first time in the US a little nervous in advance, but I had contacted my host family before my trip, which made me feel good, which made me feel more and more excited. Once at the airport, my "host mom", Laura, picked me up, I immediately felt at home. Once at the house I was warmly welcomed by the dog and the fellow student who also stayed there. The house was neat and beautiful ago.

The intake test was on the first day of school. The second day I met my class. All different nationalities, there was a Japanese, Brazilian, Russian and a few people from Saudi Arabia. I think I was also the only Dutch person at that time, I didn't come across a countryman during my stay. But that doesn't matter, you only improve your English!
You make new friends quickly, because everyone comes there alone and is looking for people to do activities together. The social program is varied and a good way to meet new people and cultures. There is often a click, because you are interested in the same activities.

The school, Converse international school of languages, works with small classes (max. 8 students), so there is sufficient attention for everyone. You will be assessed at the level determined by the intake test. The teachers are involved and professional. Even after my short stay I noticed progress! Mission passed for me.

San Diego is a great city with plenty of fun activities. Both in the city, on the beach and in the mountains. Not too touristy and the inhabitants are very friendly and easily start a chat.

It may be a long journey from the Netherlands, but it is definitely worth it! I will definitely come back to this beautiful city.

I am also busy with a German language course at home but then I do everything on my own. With a language trip you really fall in the middle of a language! It was bizarre to suddenly speak German all day long, but it was really cool to notice that even in such a short period of time your knowledge of a language improves. I had to think a little less every day with each sentence. It is also very nice that your classmates are at the same level and therefore make the same kind of mistakes, you learn a lot from that too! You get homework for the next day every day, but it's not like you spend hours doing it, it was half an hour to an hour a day for me.
And what a great city Berlin is! From the language school trips were planned every day, we went to museums and we walked in parks. You are not obliged to participate, I have also planned trips myself for a number of days.
If you still have doubts, throw them out the window, because this is really cool to do!

2 pleasant weeks in Torquay. Atmosphere is super nice at TIS. Small scale. All ages and mix of nationalities. I enjoyed the lessons and the environment.

A rich city, the atmosphere at school is good and all the staff are fully committed. So you can certainly make it an educational time.

This language trip was a great experience for me. I have taken noticeable steps at all levels (speaking, reading, writing, listening). My French friends thought so too, whom I spoke again after the course.
I found the Accord teachers really good, they take into account what the students want, they choose interesting and current topics, they give a lot of opportunities to talk, they provide positive support and they give book and film tips to help you improve your language skills. To keep up with French.
I was by far the oldest in the group but that was not at all disturbing, in fact: I thought the atmosphere and interaction with the twenties were fine.
The location of the school, right in the center of Paris (2nd district) is ideal for exploring the city on free afternoons from there. I often did that by bicycle, because no matter how nice and easy the Paris metro is, there is nothing like the Paris cityscape, especially with good spring weather.
I advise everyone to stay with a host family during the language trip, which gives you extra opportunities to also speak the language in the evenings. Exhausting? Yes, but the immersion in the language is precisely what I wanted to do the course for.

A language trip to Cambridge is really recommended! Not only do you go to school, but you can also see a lot of the city itself. In addition, you get to know many new people with whom you go into the city or visit another city (such as London and Oxford). The residence is recommended if you do not want to be dependent on a host family.
If you go to Cambridge, then a trip on the river, past the lectures, is a must!

I did a language course in Montpellier for four weeks at the language school I.L.A. This school is in the center and within walking distance of the residence. Both the level and the age classification were very well done, so I got into a class with young people and exactly at my level. I have made very nice friends with different nationalities and ages. Montpellier is a super cozy and bustling city where there is much to experience both during the day and in the evening. It was very nice!

The experience has been great, recommended to live unique sensations, excursions, knowledge of the country, its culture and its attractiveness. I have met colleagues of different nationalities and I have learned a little more English because the course has also been very good and I liked to go to class.
The organization has planned all kinds of activities, visits and parties during the days of stay and Malta also seemed to me that it is a place with many interesting places for young people to visit and enjoy.

I learned a lot on my trip to Valencia even though I was only there one week! Moreover I got to experience the culture and learn about the history of the city and meant many interesting people!

It is definitely worth trying! You get to know new people, you learn to be much more independent, you learn the culture in the country and how people interact.
The lessons in French are based on your level so you don't have to be afraid if you don't speak French very well because then you will be placed in a class with people who can't speak French well.
The atmosphere in the lessons is very nice, you have to do assignments with each other in French so that you get to know each other better, which makes learning more fun. I can say that I certainly see progress for myself.
But to be honest, of course you have to get used to the people and the environment in the beginning if you are staying with a host family. It is all very new when you arrive and sometimes this can be quite a shock. You have to do a lot independently and it takes a while before you fall into the group. I also had to go through this but this is getting better quickly. Afterwards I didn't even want to leave! It is so nice how everyone treats each other so well even though they come from completely different countries. This was a week for me to remember!

It has been very well. The classes, the school (facilities) and the other students of other nationalities have been a great unforgettable experience.

Since I've also been to Malta last year, I already knew what I could expect. Malta is so diverse as a country. You have beautiful islands, beautiful cities and amazing places to go out. Then Ese in particular is in my opinion the best choice for a language school, the facilities are superb, and the staff is really helpful and kind. Also the ese school has a really good price / quality rate. I would recommend Malta to everyone and ESE to work on their English!

Personally this trip is completely worth it, it is a city that although at first is not one of the most striking you is a city full of history, culture and a really impressive environment. I even recommend going more than Dublin, because the size of the city is perfect for learning English

Clic Málaga has a nice informal atmosphere and pleasant teachers. The classrooms and seats are somewhat small and cramped, but the school is nicely located in the center. I didn't participate in any activities but the program looked good.

Use a week of autumn vacation to further perfect my English in Exeter; I have absolutely no regrets. On the contrary, it has exceeded my expectations! Both with regard to what was learned and with regard to the sights. Exeter is an interesting, fun city and the province of Devon is beautiful! I must add that I could book an extra two nights thanks to the efforts of Study Travel staff members who went to work for me to arrange this with a host family. Those two extra nights gave me the opportunity to enjoy two full days of what was being seen and enjoyed outside the language school. The first day, Sunday before the course, I was able to explore the route to the language school in peace and quiet and then get to know the hotspots of Exeter, such as the imposing Cathedral and 'The Quay', a super fun area around the 'Exe' full of a diversity of catering establishments and small, often artisan shops. The Saturday after the course, on which you normally fly back, I could spend all of it on a day trip: by public transport, including a nice double-decker, from Exeter via Sidmouth (also beautiful) to Seaton and from there a fantastic beautiful walk on the Coast Path along the Jurassic Coast via Beer to Branscombe. An absolute must. In the course week, the school, the Globe English Center, organized various excursions, including one to Topsham (very nice) and one on the free Friday afternoon to Agatha Christie's country retreat, Greenway. Not only the stately home with atmospheric rooms where Agatha and her loved ones regularly stayed, but also the huge garden with beautiful views of the water from the estuary of the River Dart (near Dartmouth) were worth it in all respects. For example, recordings were made on Greenway for the film adaptation of her book 'Dead man's Folly'. Finally: my host family was also very nice and helpful. René.

Portsmouth is a very impressive city. The LSI school is located in the center of the city. Teachers and teaching methods are skilled. It was beautiful an experience for me.

I especially enjoyed the language institute, the lessons were varied and challenging. The class was super fun and diverse and the teachers always knew how to make something fun!

My experience through StudyTravel was very good. I spent a short time doing the course, a short week, but the experience in this school (Beet language) has been wonderful. For the accommodation I recommend a family, since they help you to converse daily and the city (Bournemoth) has been beautiful. As for Cambridge, it is an impressive city with a lot of history and its trinities were impressive.
The host family was really very nice and we felt at home. The school was amazing, the teacher was very well trained and I think I have improved my English thanks to them. We also made a trip to London because it is very easy to go from Cambridge. We visited the best known places in London and had the opportunity to go to the Nottinghill Carnival.
I recommend this experience to everyone because you will definitely grow as a person.

I knew that in Malta there are many young people in summer and I wanted to be with people my age. The election has been totally successful, the "orange carpet experience" the best. You feel in an adult environment at all times, with people very interested in the language. Fantastic accommodation, a family with private bathroom for three weeks and two more in a studio, perfect to improve my English and then have a vacation. Do not think about it and come to Malta! :)

I am very glad I attended Babilonia. I learned a lot. It is great that they use Italian the entire day, so it really forces the student to learn. In retrospect, I think I was in too advanced a level as I did experience some feelings of frustration and discouragement. Babilonia has a fairly strict approach to embracing their technique and it can be a bit intimidating. One distinct disadvantage while I was there was the half of every class was taught by a new apprentice teacher. That may not always apply to every enrollee. Babilonia is very well organized and in a lovely location. The staff is all very nice and welcoming.

The language study trip to Málaga is worthwhile for anyone who, in addition to learning the language, also wants to get a nice impression of the country, the city and the new culture. Málaga is a city where there are a lot of shops and is located directly on the sea. Even the contact with new friends was easy and one was very quick. It is only recommended!

Good experience in general. Direct flight, all very central. The city itself is not a big deal, but it is close to beautiful sites. The course well and the professional teachers. I would go again, but to a course of at least 2 weeks. A week does not give much.

I had a two-week Business English course at ESE Malta. The lessons were great and the teacher made a lot of effort to address all of our needs. The atmosphere in the class wasn't always very harmonious, but it was still a good experience

I really enjoyed the language trip to Bristol! Honestly never thought it would be so much fun. My first evening I immediately went out to dinner with all the people at my residence, so that the first evening I already had a super nice group of friends of 14 people from all kinds of different countries. Every evening and at the weekend we went with the group to do something fun, we just arranged this ourselves, but if you had questions about things to do in Bristol you could always contact Rod. Furthermore, the school also arranged activities and excursions, for example, we went to Wales with two large buses full of students, we played paintball and laser tagged. I am going to do the next language trip in Valencia in two weeks, which I am really looking forward to because Bristol knows that it will be great fun.

I would do it again. No doubt. Level and involvement of the teachers: 10! Siena was compact enough to do everything on foot. Clean and safe city. I also took cooking lessons, it was nice to get to know the other students a little better. another student had also taken private lessons in the afternoon (speaking skills). For me this is the second language trip with Studytravel, again everything was perfectly arranged and I had a very nice time!
I was in Vichy for a week, actually too short ... Within a few days you already make friends and you close very quickly because everyone is there for the same purpose. My classmates were all open to new contacts again and were easy to get along with.
Now with regard to French itself: Yes, my French has improved! The first day took a lot of getting used to and I couldn't really understand anything, but when I left after a week I noticed that I no longer had a problem understanding my host family and that I also had a easier conversation in French. The lessons were educational, but above all very fun. No standard sentences or just learning grammar, everything was mixed together and because everyone speaks French (and therefore makes mistakes), I also made it easier myself. A day passes very quickly and my week in France was over in no time.

It was a wonderful experience, I improved different skills like listening and speaking. Liverpool is an amazing city with lots of places to know and visit. I ate well and I enjoyed a lot this English course.
My colleagues were fantastic people and the conversation class was the funniest class, however I enjoyed all of them.

Finally, I want to say that the teachers were great and friendly. They taught us grammar, writing and all kind of capabilities that are needed.

The CIAL Portuguese school in Lisbon is veneer but it is one of the best or the best for studying Portuguese. It is a very serious and strict school, they have all kinds of material to help students and they have a very good teaching method. Portuguese teachers also often speak multiple languages, and can sometimes explain something specific in Spanish / English to help us understand better. They also have extracurricular activities almost every day in which a teacher takes us for a walk in Lisbon, the pity is that we mix all levels and there are many students who do not understand any Portuguese, so in the end if the group is You end up hearing more English than Portuguese, despite the fact that the teacher tries hard to speak both languages equally.

I regretted that the school did not have a closer bar or restaurant. Really unimportant details.
Really interesting were the cooking classes given by Máximo and Letizia, his wife.

Everything was very well organized by its Director Enzo and Mrs. Angela's day with the grammar classes.

I really recommend the language trip. I enjoyed it immensely. Because you stay with a family in an apartment, you automatically get to know the language better. The school is highly recommended because of the great diversity of nationalities. You learn a lot about the language. And especially the talking is up front here what I really needed. They really help you very well and teach according to your level. The city is very beautiful and I will definitely go back.

My vocational school allowed me to travel to Salerno for three weeks with Erasmus+ to learn Italian.
I really more than enjoyed the time and am already planning a repeat for next year! The city is beautiful, the people incredibly friendly and the school and the activities on offer are really great, especially if you don't dare to move around on your own and want to explore the area with others first. I found some of them to be a bit expensive, but that's clear when you're traveling with a guide (whereby Veronica is really great!).
The lessons are well designed and you get along well. If there are problems, you always have a local contact you can turn to. You are never lonely either, because you can easily make contact with the other language students.

I can recommend such a language trip to everyone, especially when it comes to Salerno! The location of the city is a dream - the perfect mix of mountains and sea and also Naples is really easy to reach if you want to go on a weekend trip.

It was great fun diving deep into the Portuguese language. The excursions into the city, which were conducted in Portuguese, were very helpful. We got to know special corners that would otherwise have been overlooked and philosophized a lot about Portugal over coffee with the typical sweets. Since my husband and I are already at C1 level, we only got lessons for two. The advantage was that we could talk and ask a lot. Unfortunately, apart from the book, there wasn't much variety in material and methods. However, we were able to repeat difficult grammar that had long been forgotten in a targeted and effective manner. Lisbon is a fascinating city that is always worth a visit.

It was a very fun and educational experience. It has been an unforgettable week for me where I have made friends for life. The stay was great. If you like going out it is a 5 minute walk from the best clubs in Malta. St Julians is a super modern part of Malta with all modern and luxurious restaurants, bars and clubs. Highly recommended!

In the past two months I have taken English lessons at International House in Dublin. What a fantastic time I had! The teachers are very friendly, understand everything and would like to help you. In addition, there is a good mix of cultures and I was one of the first Dutch people at the school. The school has just moved to a brand new building in the middle of the center. I followed an intensive course which was pretty tough from time to time but my English has improved a lot, which I am very happy with !! Apart from the lessons, the school organizes activities every day (orientation tour, pub nights, visiting museums, visiting the surrounding area, etc.) In addition, my English language has also improved well outside of school because I shared an apartment with two foreigners. Furthermore, Dublin is a nice little city with many cozy bars. As you can see, I am very positive and I can certainly recommend it to everyone. Studytravel mainly helped me with accommodation, choice of school etc. After everything has been arranged you have to do it yourself. I expected that they would contact me more often how I was doing. But luckily I have had no problems.

I have made friends for life and will soon be booking a flight to visit everyone again!

It is an experience that must be lived, without a doubt I would repeat it again.

It has been an incredible experience, in which I have met many wonderful people, I have learned a lot of English, in the four skills, etc. I have also known the country, which is very different from mine. An experience that I recommend to everyone.

This language course has been for me one of the best experiences of my life. Being able to study English in London has greatly improved my level. Also, I have learned about other cultures and discovered new places. I have met many people and we have shared very funny moments. I have great memories of this trip and I would recommend it to anyone.

This language trip was a really great experience! You get to know different cultures, your English really improves and you make a lot of new friends. The school and the surrounding area were also very beautiful, so a language trip is really worth it!

All in all, it was three great weeks that I was able to experience in Nice. In the first two weeks I went on many excursions and it was a lot of fun. I also used the first two weeks to take the intensive course, which helped a lot. I used the third week to go diving in the afternoon. That was really wonderful! I can only recommend the courses from Study Travel. It is the second time that I travel here. Last year I was in Biarritz, which I also really liked. The cohesion between the students is very good and the teachers always had an open ear. I learned a lot, met a lot of different people and had a lot of fun. My French has improved as well as my English skills during this time. Thanks again to the whole team!

All in all, my language trip was very nice. I met a lot of nice people from different countries and spent a lot of time on the beach. The junior program activities were good but in my opinion 4 activities a week was too much. The lessons in the language school were fun and rather creative. All teachers and supervisors were very nice.
Regarding homestay accommodation, I must first say that every host family is different.
My accommodation was centrally located, so I was able to walk to everything within 15 minutes. I had a single room with a large window and access to the balcony. However, only little storage space for my boxes.
My host mother was nice, but I hardly saw her, which can also be because of me, since I was usually outside for a long time.
The food was bad, but bearable for two weeks as I often ate out with the others.
It was a great experience and San Sebastian is a beautiful city.

The school and the program were great! However, some rooms in the residence are very small... The food and cleanliness in the residence also leave a lot to be desired. Otherwise great!

You get to know so many new people in such a short time and, due to the variety of nationalities, you learn an incredible amount about other cultures/countries. Intimate friendships are only formed in such a short time and they all have one thing in common, the French language!
Even in Antibes I met many locals and got insider tips about the city!
The most important thing about the stay is that you shouldn't be shy, but simply approach other people. I haven't had a bad experience with this method, everyone is so warm and open. So dare!
I am infinitely grateful to have done this language trip and was so lucky with the host family. I would recommend everyone to do this trip, these are incredible and unforgettable days/weeks... I will definitely come back!!

I personally think it was 100% worth it. The teachers were nice and always made sure that everyone understood the subject matter. In my case, the other students were also very open and friendly.
Although we had many excursions, they were always fun.

At the beginning of August I spent two weeks at the Españolé language school in Valencia. Taking this trip was one of the best decisions I've ever made. In this unique and unforgettable experience I experienced more than I normally have in the whole year. The school, which by the way is super central and only a few minutes from the residence, organizes a different program every afternoon, such as a visit to the swimming pool, a surf lesson, a paella evening, a visit to the beach or other activities in town. There is a full-day excursion at the weekend. Nevertheless, you still have a lot of free time and can stroll through the streets of Valencia with your new friends or go to the beach in the evening. The lunch break also gives you additional time to explore the city. All I can say about Valencia itself is that I really liked the city. Despite being a big city, Valencia is still of a manageable size and everything in the city center is within walking distance. On every corner you will find a bar or an ice cream parlor or a town musician. The city's architecture is also admirable and overall a beautiful Spanish city. One can say about the school that the very young teachers are all very friendly and teach well. I learned a lot in these two weeks, especially many details that are hardly mentioned in Spanish classes in Germany. I also think it's great how many friendships you make. In the beginning everyone is a stranger, but after a few days you have many friends who come from all over the world. Finally, I would like to write something about the residence. I have absolutely no regrets about choosing a residency rather than a host family because the residency allows you to spend time with the other youngsters throughout. However, I also have points of criticism, such as the somewhat run-down bathrooms, which only have cold water, which are not separated by gender and where many things are broken, such as the toilet locks. In addition, the organization was a bit chaotic in some places, such as the fact that I had to state again and again that I wanted vegetarian food and then every now and then I only got meat food.
Nonetheless, this experience was one of the best of my life and I wouldn't trade it for anything. I can only recommend everyone to do a language trip like this one.

Galway is worth a trip, whether as a language trip or vacation, you will rarely find such a beautiful area! I can really only recommend the school and the teachers, you feel safe here. It would be advisable to hire a bike to be easily independent from the beach, to the numerous pubs, from the accommodation to the school. Galway I'll be back!

Medellin is a really great city and my host mother also treated me like I was her own son! Had lessons every weekday at a good level and also spent a lot of time with fellow students (activities or doing something on your own). In short, I had the time of my life here!

On a personal level, the intercultural experience has been fantastic.

The two-week Italian language course and the additionally booked Club 50+ culture and leisure program at the DILIT International House language school in Rome were an extremely nice experience for me. The school's teaching and administrative staff are very competent, helpful and hospitable. The teaching concept is of a high standard, strongly geared towards the participation and cooperation of the participants and extremely effective. The cultural leisure program was very well organized, varied and informative. The school's on-site cafeteria offers everything participants could wish for during class and lunch breaks. Overall, the school has a very friendly atmosphere. The internationality of the participants is a particularly important aspect of the overall experience. The accommodation organized by DILIT for me and another visitor to the language school, each in a single room, with a private host was also very nice and only a good 10-minute bus ride from DILIT. I can heartily recommend the DILIT language school in Rome and the language tour operator StudyTravel. Big praise!

The lessons with Silvia were demanding, intensive and efficient. She was lovely, patient, insightful, the ideal teacher! I was excited!

Overall, there was always a very good atmosphere with the teachers and supervisors. However, when you drove to the activities, the bus was usually too late. The lessons were always relaxed and varied depending on the teacher.

I really enjoyed my language trip! you get to know so many new people of all kinds of nationalities, but of course also just Dutch people with whom you spend a lot of time. The lessons are also fun because you get to know people there and your English is getting better because you have to speak English. Bristol is also a very nice city, the school is in Clifton but you can easily reach Bristol by bus. Bristol is really a student city, which makes it so much fun to do your language trip there because there are a lot of students.

Had a fantastic week in Malaga. Lessons in the morning and often an excursion in the afternoon or evening. The lessons were very fun and educational. The teachers are all nice and very experienced. The excursions were very varied and Malaga is a great city to stay for a few weeks.

My language stay in Valencia was great! Not only did I learn a lot of Spanish but also a lot about other cultures because I was friends with all the foreigners at school. In addition, I was in a super fun hockey team with Spaniards, Argentinians and Dutch people. The Spanish hockey tactics are very different so I found that super interesting too.

The teachers were really great. Every day we were invited to speak in French about a topic. A grammatical topic was also covered each day. Highly recommended.

Thought it was a super experience, I saw everything of the country in the first 4 weeks and the last 3 weeks I was able to learn Spanish well and make a lot of friends in montañita where the atmosphere was great!

Experience too short but lived with great intensity! It is certainly an experience that I would repeat! The LILA academy is wonderful, the teachers are very nice and care about making you feel good from day 1. The way of teaching the classes is very enjoyable and entertaining, which makes the hours fly by and you don't even want them to end ! They offer many activities for both daily and weekends, for example I went to Oxford. The students, of all nationalities, being all in the same situation as you, far from home and wanting to meet people and practice their English, make a "hookup" and everyone gets along very well. There is a great atmosphere! As for the host family, I couldn't have been more comfortable. My family was very aware of me, they gave me all the facilities to make me feel at home and they helped me a lot to practice English every day. We used to make plans like going out to dinner, strolling through the Albert Dock, to the Beatles museum... I've become very good friends with them, they didn't even want to come back from there, in fact I'll be visiting them again soon! Liverpool in general has seemed like a wonderful city to me, it is welcoming, the people are very nice and it has many activities and places to see. Also, if you like music like me, the city of the Beatles is your destination yes or yes!!! I would recommend everyone to live an experience like this at least once in a lifetime!

Spanish lessons in a wonderful city. The lessons are of excellent quality and you will be dealing with different teachers. I found that very valuable. Many fun activities are organized. A bit pricey though.

The 2 weeks of language lessons at Linguaviva were a very good choice. The school is in the immediate vicinity of the main train station, so the transport connections were excellent. Despite my advanced age, I felt very comfortable among the young people on my course. The teacher was always excellently prepared, the lessons very effective. But I would have wished for even more communicative methods. The focus at the advanced level was clearly on grammar.
The school offered numerous excursions. Not always enough interested people came together. But it's not a problem in Florence anyway to look at everything individually.
As in most schools, you had to buy an expensive book. If you stay for 3 months it's worth it, but for 14 days...?
What was missing in this school was a central assembly room. This is probably a space and financial problem in Florence. The employees in the secretariat were very friendly and helpful.
You can definitely recommend the school.

Pleasant small-scale school where the level at which you can receive lessons is carefully considered. Excursions interesting. Faro is a small town but that has its advantages and the slow train along the coast is very useful for visiting other places.

My language trip to the France Langue school in Bordeaux has brought me so much fun! To start with the fact that the contact beforehand from StudyTravel was friendly and accessible. StudieTravel picked up very well what my wishes were about the language course. Communication by email with all documents was on time and very clear.
I had decided to go to Bordeaux on my own, because I think it is also good for my personal development. I was very warmly welcomed at France Langue; it is a fairly small establishment that immediately looks and is very personal. Teachers spoke to them in the corridors and at the tea break. My own teacher (I had opted for 20 hours of private lessons) was so immersed in the subject I wanted to learn about. She had prepared very interactive lessons, which allowed me to work on different skills. I couldn't have wished for a better teacher than this one,
Bordeaux is like little Paris, but much more relaxed. I have walked through Bordeaux a lot. I have seen both the highlights of the city, but also the small streets and squares and the new Darwin district.
The level of my French has improved considerably and I received a nice certificate on Friday.

Good mix of young and old. Classification according to your own level, for which you must take a test in advance. It is very nice to have to learn in a group, where you are all on the same level.
Very good and committed teachers, who know the names of all new students within a few days. Also sympathetic staff in the reception and restaurant. The excursions/workshops/presentations, which are given daily, are very worthwhile and give you a good impression of the Spanish history.

Besides school you had enough free time to explore Malaga and its surroundings and it offers the opportunity to get to know other students better.

My daughter and I started the course with less expectations. We went for 2 weeks because we couldn't arrange it any other way with our work. Weeks have flown by. It was a very nice experience. The 'French in Normandy' team is involved and enthusiastic. Lessons are varied and chosen with care. Definitely worth repeating!

The language trip is definitely worth it! You can fully immerse yourself in the English language and culture while making fun memories with friends at the same time.

For the second time I have been on the road with Studytravel to learn Spanish. I did this in Seville at the Clic language school. The contact with the fellow students went very smoothly. Just friendly people of different ages and different nationalities. The activities organized by the school didn't really appeal to me this time, so I put together my own cultural program for the week. This is how I enjoyed the many beautiful things Seville has. The apartment I was in was large, fortunately had air conditioning and close to many restaurants and bars.
It was another great week and I'm already looking at which city I will further expand my Spanish language skills in next year

Being at a school with all ages and nationalities and taking lessons is an educational and interesting experience.

For me the most important thing was to improve my Spanish : learning Spanish is my hobby.
As I travel alone, I enjoy being included in a family that has welcomed me very warmly.
The teachers were excellent. In the future I want more individual lessons.

I really enjoyed the language trip. The cultural program was very varied and interesting. The school is really to be recommended, the teachers are very competent and always helpful. They also respond to the special requests of the course participants, as far as this is possible. We were able to visit a market and a bookstore in addition to the series. I really liked the cooking school because it gave me even more contact with the other course participants.

It's a shame that I was only able to spend a week on my language course this time - great organization overall. I can also only recommend the language school: great teachers who go to great lengths to design individual lessons and thus increase motivation.

My language stay in Malta was an unforgettable experience. It has definitely improved my English and especially my speaking skills. From the first moment you land to the moment you leave, you are constantly speaking English with everyone, which quickly made my English fluent. I got to know new people/nationalities very quickly and because everyone is there for the same purpose, it's easy to make new friends. For example, I went to do different activities with my housemates and classmates, we cooked together and took a step into the world in the evening. The six weeks have flown by and I wish I could stay longer, because the beautiful weather makes every day feel a bit like vacation.

The language course was a lot of fun, made friends with people all over the world and learned a lot!

My experience was very positive! It was 4 very nice weeks in which I met a lot of nice people. My Spanish has also improved a lot, better than I expected! Valencia is a very nice city in all areas: beach, cozy center, nice weather and going out is all perfect in my opinion. That is why I would recommend everyone to go on a language trip to Valencia

My Dublin stay was great and I would recommend it anytime. The city is very exciting, the school very diverse and the staff very friendly and helpful. The staff at the accommodation are also very helpful and friendly. There is currently no catering in the accommodation, in the surrounding shops near the accommodation you can buy something warm for breakfast or lunch at school.

Such a trip has some surprises in store, both positive and negative, but they do not detract from the stay.

It was truly the experience of a lifetime. I met so many sweet, nice people, did the most fun things and learned so much. The lessons are very educational and the interaction with teachers is great. The residence is really nice, the last two weeks I had to go to a host family because the residence was sold to another school, but I also experienced this well. Super sweet family and they cooked very well. The city is super safe and there is plenty to do, other cities are not that far away and everything is within reach. I would do it again in a heartbeat and highly recommend it to anyone!

The only point of criticism is: book your own taxi. I arranged the taxi through the school (from the airport to the residence and vice versa), so I paid 120 euros on the way there and 75 euros extra on the way back purely to them. Arranging a taxi yourself was much cheaper and it is really easy. That's the only thing I find very rude because you already paid so much, but everything else was super organized and I can recommend it to everyone!

I really enjoyed my 2 months in Montpellier! Met so many people with all kinds of different nationalities and made new friends. Not to mention, I improved my French! In the lessons you were with a maximum of 10 students of different ages and nationalities. Speaking, reading, listening skills and grammar were treated. We also played a lot of games during class. I did the intensive course and that helped me a lot with speaking French. Some teachers were better than others, but it was usually possible to change teachers. Besides the lessons I still had enough free time to go to the beach/park and enjoy the beautiful Montpellier. A really nice city with many nice shops, terraces and cute squares. In the weekends there are many cities in the area that you can visit by train. I recommend staying at the ila residence if you like to cook together and have people around you.

Valencia is a wonderful city and it is a nice language school with a pleasant atmosphere. The organization is also good, both in the Netherlands and Spain. Recommended!

Had a super fun time in Granada at Escuela Delengua! It is a small friendly school in a very nice central location. The teachers know everyone by name, which makes it feel like a family. There was a nice mix of nationalities and ages. Fun activities were organized after school. I would recommend it to everyone!

My language course to learn better English went to Portsmouth. It is a quiet and non-touristy town but definitely worth a visit. The school is a cozy and small-scale school with different cultures and ages, which I liked. Close to the school was a center and nice pubs and a 15-minute walk from the school was a harbor with restaurants, an outlet and a watchtower that is definitely worth a visit. I have written a blog for more extensive story.

I really enjoyed this week. A very nice host family. Tanya and Don were extremely cordial and Tanya was ready every day to make a delicious breakfast and dinner. They paid a lot of attention to the guests. The training was very good. Many nationalities with lots of fun social events. I felt like a student again for a week :). The teachers helped me a lot. Especially the 1 on 1 sessions have given me a lot of confidence in speaking good English, where the focus was on what was already going well and together we explored and added what is needed to take the necessary extra step.

I've been in Montpellier for 3 weeks and it was really great! You meet many different and nice people and because the city is not too big, you can easily meet other students. The sea is perfect for a change from the hot summer. I would have loved to stay here a few more weeks!

It was a very nice experience in which I learned a lot and met many new people. The language study has been extremely good for my personal development. Because you are in a completely different country and culture, you learn a lot about yourself. An unforgettable adventure on all levels!

The entire experience was fantastic, the school takes great care of the students and they propose activities every day. The teachers I had were all very good, caring a lot about the learning of each person in the class and giving final feedback to improve. The house where I stayed was 25 minutes by bus from the school, well connected, the hostess was very kind, offering us a lot of flexibility for schedules and meals (very tasty by the way!) as well as talking a lot with me and the other 2 people who stayed. they stayed in the house. Also, Edinburgh is an exciting city! Overall a great experience.

I really liked it, but I think it's a pity that stencils were used during lessons. Doesn't have a clear structure. It is also difficult with changing students, but still.

The school and city were incredible, excursions were fun and to amazing locations. I learned a lot in the school and i loved all the reachers. However, it’s important to be placed with the right family, mine weren’t expecting a beginner and got frustrated with my lack of speaking ability. Also make sure your family knows about cooking for any dietary restrictions, i told my family far in advance that i’m vegetarian and they still cooked almost only omelettes for dinner. Other than that the experience was incredible!

At first I was quite insecure, but when I met the first people and grew closer to them after a few days, I really enjoyed the time. The days flew by, because you experienced a lot through the classes, the activities and your free time. 2 weeks was the perfect length for me. :)

The best experience of my life, spending 3 weeks in Rome was a fantasy. While learning Italian, I was able to meet wonderful people and I was able to practice daily in different environments.

It has been an amazing experience. The highly recommended school, for organization, teaching staff, study methodology, classmates... To repeat.

I really enjoyed the course in Valencia, the teachers were nice and experienced at the level they teach.
It was very hot in Valencia, but the school building had good air conditioning. The air conditioning was a bit less good in the residence, but you are usually only there to sleep and eat.
I also highly recommend going into town; the food is good and the people are very nice.
I thought it was a very successful week and maybe I'll come back next year!

I really enjoyed 2 very nice weeks in Sardinia. Ended up in an advanced class after taking the test. And therefore came into contact with 2 nice fellow students. Learned a lot, a lot of grammar and the conversations were also very nice. The school and teachers are top notch, what treasures! I really enjoyed life in Alghero with my 2 fellow students from the US and Bulgaria. An experience to never forget.

It was a wonderful 2 weeks at CLIC in Cadiz. The lessons were interesting with pleasant teachers. We went with the class to the Mercado where we were allowed to ask locals questions about their city.
In addition, many activities were organized, for example: dance lessons, lessons about pronunciation, flamenco, a trip to Vejer and to the beach.
I stayed at la Oca in the Old Town.
The building is modern and fully equipped. I had rented a bicycle and so I cycled to school every morning with a view of the sea. I will definitely go back.

Despite my age, I had a good connection with the young students. The lessons were very inspiring as the English language was combined with real contents such as Poetry. My English has also taken precedence. Moreover, the atmosphere was very friendly and enthusiastic. Hopefully I can go there next year with my grandson. I slept in a hotel. More than incredible experience in Venice, I would repeat a thousand and one more times!

A language trip is such a cool experience! You get to know a lot of people of different nationalities. Together with your friends you will discover the city! You learn English in class, but also outside of it. London was the perfect destination for me because I really wanted to discover the city life in London and because the location of the school was perfect, I succeeded! What I liked most about London during my language stay was that there are so many museums that are free and the amount of pubs! London seems like a huge city and it is, but everything is easy to reach and I have not felt unsafe once.

The big advantage of the language course is that you really spend a whole morning reading, speaking and thinking in Italian. It makes you slowly but surely lose your fear of speaking Italian in public. In addition, we had a very pleasant and stimulating teacher. All in all, a very good week in a beautiful city.

I lived close to the language school in a very nice host family, who spoke to me a lot in French. The language school was close to the center of Bordeaux. The division in my group was correct in terms of level. There was a nice mix of students in terms of nationalities. However, Microsoft teams were expected to download the materials. In the afternoon there was plenty to discover in the city. A Roman arena was just next to the language school.

It was very nice to be well informed in advance through Study Travel about what to expect. The expectations were certainly fulfilled. The lesson and program at l'Accademia Italia in Salerno is well organised. The employees want to help you with everything, so that feels good. I really enjoyed meeting all kinds of people with different nationalities and different ages. I have kept in touch with them so far. I plan to go again early next year.

It was a very nice two weeks! The language school is in a fantastic location and the teachers and staff at the school were very nice! Can definitely be recommended!!!

This was the first time for me. It was well organised, friendly people, helpful, the teacher was seriously accommodating to students, neat school, clean and hygienic, parking space in front of the door.
In short, for me it was a good choice and a great experience. I certainly didn't mind having 3 different nationalities in the class

My week at Escuela de idiomas Nerja was intensive and perfect. The teachers were very helpful and taught with passion and fun. The class was not very large with 9 people and I really liked that. The contacts with my fellow students were mainly very positive and I will certainly keep in touch with some of them. I stayed in one of the studio apartments not far from the school. A very pleasant stay with swimming pool and roof terrace. The center of Nerja and the beach are all within walking distance. The Cuaves from Nerja are highly recommended!

Together with my daughter I attended 2 weeks of intensive Spanish for beginners in Malaga.
On Sunday we arrived at our studio in a neighborhood just outside the center. The studio, including kitchen and bathroom, was new and spotlessly clean.
On Monday we started our first lessons. A bit of a shock because everything was in Spanish. Fortunately, we quickly got used to this and, thanks to our fantastic teachers, we learned a lot in these 2 weeks.
I recommend it to everyone!

I learned a lot but especially enjoyed it a lot during my language course in Valencia.
The lessons are given well and clearly at a super nice school (españolé).
The city of Valencia is, in a word, fantastic.
A small downside for me personally is the number of tourists in the city (which means you speak less Spanish and therefore learn to converse less well). Highly recommended!
