DID Augsburg Juniors

Our school in Augsburg, DID, organizes German programs for juniors between 14 to 17 years old throughout the year. The school is located near the train station and the main tram lines. The city center and the famous Königsplatz are only a few minutes' walk away.
Courses and activities differ according to the time of the year, but all programs make sure the students enjoy their German experience to the fullest.

Program of activities and excursions

Like all of our German camps in Germany, Augsburg includes a full program of activities and excursions supervised by monitors. These activities are included in the price of the course and the frequency varies according to the time of year:

  • In the summer: 4 afternoon activities during the week + 1 full day excursion on weekends
  • In the winter: 3 afternoon activities during the week + 1 full day excursion on weekends
  • During the rest of the year: 2 afternoon activities during the week + 1 full day excursion on weekends

Examples of activities below:

  • bowling
  • beach volley
  • football
  • Visits to museums
  • a half day at the water park
  • kayak
  • a picnic in the woods with outdoor games
  • Full day excursions: Nuremberg, Munich, Ratisbonne, Linderhof and Neuschwanstein castles, Constance and Chiemsee lakes, etc.

Intensive (14-17 years)

  • Ages: 14-17
  • Minimum level: A1 (not suitable for beginners)
  • Lessons: 24 lessons per week from Monday to Friday (9:00-13:30)* schedule subject to changes.
  • Accommodation: host family in a shared room with full board (breakfast, packed lunch and dinner)
  • Supervision: 24/7
  • Transfer: not included. Please see price list
  • Activities: included (obligatory)
  • Local transportation card: included

German classes in Augsburg are taught by expert teachers specialized in teaching German as a foreign language to juniors and teenagers.

Minimum age is 14 years.

Accommodation is booked for arrival on Sunday and departure on Saturday.
The prices of all transfers apply on arrival between 08:00 and 20:00, outside these times a surcharge of €35 applies.

  • Lessons: 20 or 24 lessons per week from Monday to Friday (9:00-12:30/13:30)* schedule subject to changes.

Host family

You will stay in a double room with full board in a local family. Students share a double room with another student of a different mother tongue to be able to practice the language at all times. The families are located in safe areas of Augsburg and at an average distance of 45 minutes on public transport from the school.
