Language course French in Paris

The intensive course in Paris consists of 20, 26, 30 or 34 lessons per week and it is available for 6 different levels of knowledge. Lessons are focused on the following aspects of the French language:

•    Grammar and vocabulary
•    Speaking
•    Writing
•    Listening

Every lesson consists of 45 minutes. As a result, you will have 20 clock's hours of General French in all cases. If you book the 30 or 34 lessons courses, you will participate in some of the workshops below:

•    Grammar and Writing
•    DELF/ DALF exam
•    Listening and speaking
•    Business French
•    French and Parisian culture
•    Theater and Drama

Every workshop consists in 3 clock’s hours (60 minutes). The minimum length of any course is one week. Our 4 weeks prices are specially focused on the DELF /DALF and business French workshops.

Please note that workshops cannot be elected in advance at the time of booking. Of course, you can express your preferences. On the first day at the school, you will be assessed in order to determine if your level is enough as to participate in your preferred workshop. Please note that certain workshops require an intermediate level of French.

Estimated timetable: General French will be taught in the mornings. Workshops will be developed in the afternoons, between 15.00 to 17.00 (each one in different days)

Instead of lessons in the morning you can also opt for lessons in the afternoon. This is a more economical option yet still gives you enough time to explore Paris in the morning. With the intensive course in the afternoon you can choose between 20 or 26 lessons per week. Lessons take place from 14.15 h. to 17.15 h.

The semi-intensive course of 20 lessons (15 clock´s hours) in the afternoon course consists of 3 hours of dedicated workshop each afternoon. The school offers the following workshops : "Speaking" on Monday, "Writing/Grammar" on Tuesday, "Oral - Speaking with drama techniques" on Wednesday, "Extra Practise" (levels A1 & A2) or " DELF and DALF training" (level B1 and higher) or "Business French" (level B1 and higher) on Thursday, "Parisian Culture and Civilisation" on Friday.

For the intensive course of 26 lessons, five hours of supervised study are added to the intensive course in the afternoon of 15 hours, one hour per day, from 17h15 to 18h15.

The Combined Course is specially designed for those participants who would like to study in a group, yet at the same time have some private lessons for their professional or personal needs. 26 lessons per week + 1 individual lesson daily.

Minimum age is 16 years.

The commercial French workshop course consists of general French classes in the morning (26 lessons), and specialised commercial french lessons (16 lessons) in the afternoon in a minigroup with a maximum of 3 students.

Among the specialised subjects you can choose include:

a) French Corporate System and Business Culture
b) French and Law
c) Written and oral Business French

Open to all levels, from Beginner to Advanced.

Minimum age is 17 years.

The DELF exam preparation course consists of the intensive course of 26 lessons in the morning + 2 sessions of DELF preparation (each sessions 180 minutes), given on Tuesday and Thursday from 14:15 to 17:15. Please contact us for exact exam dates.

The French and culture course is designed for students who would like to combine a French language course with the different aspects of French culture. In the morning you will take French language lessons and once a week in the afternoon you will participate in the Culture and Parisian Civilization workshop.

The culture workshop is focused on exploring the historic, literary and architectural side of Paris by walks through the streets of the French capital.

This course is available from 1 week and you will participate in groups with a maximum of 14 students. The French and culture course requires an intermediate level of French.
Schedule: General French from Monday to Friday, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and workshop from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. 

Minimum age is 16 years.

The course includes 42 lessons per week. 

The exact content of the program depends on the number of participants. On the first day of classes you will get more information about this. Meetings with professionals and visits to legal or political institutions such as the Court of Appeal, the Industrial Tribunal, the High Court of Appeal and a typical Parisian Courthouse, are included in the program.

You need to have at least basic knowledge of French. The classes are in groups with a maximum of 14 students and the minimum age to participate in the French & Law course is 18 years.

The one-to-one course is aimed at professionals, teachers or university students who wish to improve their linguistic knowledge in as short time as possible or who wish to reach a survival level in a few days. The one-to-one course is based on the participant´s skills and his/her professional or social needs.
