Language course Spanish in Barcelona

The intensive course consists of either 20, 24 or 30 lessons per week. During the intensive course students will develop the key language skills in an interactive group.

Students aged 30+ can join the intensive 30+ course.

20 lessons per week: 16 lessons of general Spanish, 2 project sessions, 2 Spanish in action lessons
24 lessons per week: 16 lessons of general Spanish, 2 project sessions, 2 Spanish in action lessons, 4 lessons of Spanish in the city
30 lessons per week: 20 lessons of general Spanish, 6 conversation lessons, 2 project sessions, 2 lessons of Spanish in action

Project sessions: applied project in the classroom aimed to practically apply knowledge through teamwork. Examples include: creating a tourist guide for a city, creating and presenting a debate, holding a trivia contest about the Hispanic world.

Spanish in action: immersive experience outside the classroom (in a store, market, bakery...) to put in practice the language in a real-life setting. The activities are adjusted to your the level of Spanish of the group you're in.

Spanish in the city: the city sessions and activities are immersive and didactic, featuring visits to neighborhoods, museums, historic centers, etc. The aim is to educate students on the city's cultural, historical, and artistic dimensions, as well as its traditions and social customs. The curriculum covers literature, architecture, gastronomy, politics, and sports.

Minimum age is 16 years.

Students looking to learn Spanish with some additional personalized assistance should consider the combined course. The combined course consists of 20 group lessons + 4 or 10 private lessons per week. With the addition of individual lessons, students have an opportunity to explore in more depth the themes and topics discussed in group classes. The teacher can focus on the areas in which the student needs more attention and cover additional content.

Minimum age is 16 years.

If you want to fully concentrate on your needs then one-to-one lessons are the perfect choice for you!

The one-on-one attention from a professor allows the lessons to focus on the student’s areas of interest. Classes can focus mainly on pronunciation and speaking fluidity or specific grammar rules that the student finds more difficult. Students can expect to improve their level of Spanish significantly in a short period of time by concentrating on the areas of the language that they find most difficult and receive uninterrupted personalized attention from the professor.

We recommend to book 10 or 20 private lessons per week, but it is also possible to book any other amount of private lessons per week (minimum 2 private lessons per week).

The DELE exam preparation course is specifically designed to ensure you develop the necessary competencies to pass your selected level of the exam (from Beginner to Advanced).

The course consists of 20 lessons general Spanish per week + 10 private lessons exam preparation per week. The exam preparation lessons will go over Spanish skills on the exam, test-taking strategies and even provide practice exams.

Minimum age is 16 years.

The teacher training course is for current language teachers looking to improve their skills or those interested in becoming teachers. The course consists of 20 group lessons of advanced grammar lessons to finely tune language skills and methodology lessons to learn new theories and practices related to teaching Spanish as a foreign language + 5 private lessons per week.

This course is for Spanish teachers (native or non-native speaking) who teach Spanish as a second or foreign language and who have a minimum Spanish level of C1 (Advanced). It is for those who want to perfect their language teaching through advanced grammar combined with methodology lessons and have a chance to prepare authentic classroom materials for future use

The Club 50 Spanish course is designed specifically for students aged 50 and above. The program consists of 20 lessons per week and is complemented by three weekly activities. It is a two-week program, but participation for just one week is also possible.

Examples of activities include:

• City tours

• Visits to museums and local attractions

• Cultural activities such as tapas tours and wine tastings

• Flamenco dance lesson & show

An optional weekend excursion is available for an additional fee.

Depending on the number of participants and their language levels, Spanish classes may take place in mixed-age groups.

Minimum age is 50 years.
