Our partner school in Bilbao, Instituto Hemingway, is located right in the heart of the city, close to the train station and the Nervión River. The area is bustling with shops, restaurants, cafés, and traditional "Pintxo bars," making it easy to explore after your Spanish lessons!
The school building has 10 classrooms, and it has over 25 years of experience in teaching Spanish to international students. The school is accredited by the Instituto Cervantes and is a member of FEDELE.
In addition to Spanish language courses, the school offers a rich and varied social program. This gives you the perfect opportunity to practice your Spanish in real-life situations while discovering all that Bilbao has to offer! Activities take place both in the city and in the surrounding region, which is well worth exploring. Regular excursions are organized to other destinations, such as the stunning coastal city of San Sebastián or the iconic islet of Gaztelugatxe.
In Bilbao itself, you can take part in a pintxos tour, a wine tasting, kayaking trips, visits to the famous Guggenheim Museum, and much more!
The intensive course is a general Spanish course consisting of 20 lessons per week. Classes are taught in international groups, covering all language skills with a focus on conversation.
Minimum age is 14 years.
