Learn Italian in Rome at our partner school DILIT, established in 1974. Dilit was one of the first ever language schools in Italy to teach Italian to foreign students and is today one of the most prestigious language schools in the country. The school is situated in the centre of Rome just 5 minutes walk from the central railway station (Termini Station) and access to all points of the city is available here.

This famous proverb is still true today as people from all over the world flock to this dynamic city not just to learn Italian but also to explore the many museums and monuments. Our partner school also organises a programme of activities for students to enjoy whilst they learn Italian in Rome, examples include:
The intensive course in Rome consists of 15, 20, 25 or 30 lessons per week (1 lesson = 45 minutes). The course is offered for all language levels. The intensive course with 25 or 30 lessons per week consists of 20 lessons of intensive course with a maximum of 14 students per class and 5 or 10 extra lessons divided in 2 or 4 sessions per week in small groups of a maximum of 5 students. Classes are held from Monday to Friday.
The course of 15 lessons per week usually takes place in the afternoon only.
Minimum age is 16 years.
Specially designed for those participants who would like to study in a group, yet at the same time have some private lessons for their professional or personal needs. This course is available with 26 or 30 lessons per week and consists of 20 group lessons per week + 6 or 10 private lessons per week.
Minimum age is 16 years.
This 2-week programme is designed for students aged 30-40 years old and includes 20 lessons of Italian per week (in the mornings, in groups of mixed ages) in combination with a cultural activity programme. The activities are designed to create the right balance between language, art, culture, leisure and fun, to make the experience different and unforgettable.

The activities are always accompanied by a teacher or guide, so the language spoken is Italian and you need at least A1+ level.

This program is organized three times a year and consists of a two-week course for people of around 50 years old. It is a mixture of language, art, culture and pleasure to spend time with people of the same age and improving knowledge of the city of Rome.
You will have 20 lessons in mixed age groups but the activities are organized with other adults aged 50+.

This course is designed for those students who need a sound language and cultural foundation in order to study at an Italian Higher Education Institution, prepare for a bachelor or master degree or simply for those who are interested in Italian language and culture and want to acquire a high competence. The programme combines language and various aspects of Italian society, history and civilisation.
This course has a duration of 24 weeks and you will receive 20 lessons per week (1 lesson=45 minutes). This course requires a minimum level of A2.
At the end of the programme, you will have the advantage of taking an official exams like CILS or CELI. Exams fees are not included in the price.

This course is designed for those students who need a sound language and cultural foundation in order to study at an Italian Higher Education Institution, but also for for students who want to spend a year abroad and also those students who are simply interested in Italian language and culture.
It is a fixed program that lasts 40 weeks, including general Italians lessons, Academic studies and CILS or CELI exam preparation. According to the students' interests the topic can be: History of Italian Art, Italian Fashion, Architecture, Business Italian or Italian for Law.
Minimum age is 18 years.
This course caters for people who need to use Italian at work. The objective is to develop effective communication skills at work and in business, both spoken and written. During the course, tailor-made to the specific needs of the participants, the grammar and vocabulary typical of commercial Italian - telephone conversations, company presentations, negotiations and sales, business meetings, formal letters, reports and messages/emails will be analysed and practised.
The Business Italian course requires an intermediate level of Italian and is made up of 3 lessons a day from Monday to Friday and lasts 2 weeks.
Minimum age is 18 years.
The Italian cookery course offers students the opportunity to enter an Italian home, take part in the preparation of some typical Italian dishes and then eat them together with a glass of good wine. It is an experience which brings together culture, gastronomy and language practice. This course is open to students of all levels.
The course combines an intensive course with 20 lessons a week with the cookery course with 3 lessons twice a week.
Minimum age is 16 years.
The Italian and culture course offers you the opportunity to practice Italian while experiencing and discovering Italian art and culture. This is a two-weeks course with 15 lessons a week.
In this course you will learn Italian whilst going out to discover the unequalled artistic and archeologial patrimony that only a city like Rome can offer. Sessions are theoretical and practical journeys through the history of Italian art by the combination of classes and guided visits. Minimum levels required is intermediate.
Minimum age is 16 years.
The One-to-One course is particularly suitable for business and professional people and all those who require tuition tailor-made to their individual needs. You can choose between 20 or 25 private lessons per week.
