Language course French in Montpellier

The intensive course in Montpellier focuses on all language skills, with special emphasis on communication. During the lessons you will develop your essential language skills (speaking, writing, listening and reading) thorough full immersion and communicative activities. Furthermore, lessons also include different topics about French history and culture as a way to stimulate the conversation.

Minimum age is 16 years.

The combined course offers the possibility to combine group and one-to-one tuition. You will follow 24 lessons per week, of which 4 lessons are one-to-one tuition.  The combined course perfectly combines the dynamic of group tuition with tailored private lessons. Ideal for professionals, managers and all who only have little time available.  Maximum number of students per class: 10 (one-to-one lessons: 1) All levels.

The academic year course has the same content as the intensive course, however you profit of very special rates. You will follow 20 lessons per week. Course length is between 20 - 36 weeks.

The commercial French course is offered in conjunction with the intensive course, and aims to teach you special business vocabulary and business expressions in a wide range of topics. The intensive course is 20 hours and the commercial French course 10 hours per week.
Required Level: Intermediate.

The DELF / DALF course consists of 20 lessons standard course + 10 lessons special exam training, in which you can prepare for the exam. In 2026 this course consists of 20 + 8 lessons per week.

The Club 50 Golden Age course is specifically designed for the senior student. During a one or two-week program the focus is not only on learning the language, but you will also discover the beautiful surroundings of Montpellier.

The program includes 20 lessons per week and an extensive program of activities. Examples of activities and excursions include a guided city tour, half-day excursion to Nimes and Sete, the Venice of the Languedoc, a day trip to Avignon, wine and cheese tasting. All students from the school may participate on the city tour and the excursions, the other activities are exclusive for the Golden Age sudents (if there are enough participants). The Club 50 course is not suitable for absolute beginners.

The one-to-one course is designed for those who want to optimise their study time. The aim of the one-to-one course programme is to offer a fully personalised method of teaching designed to meet the specific student's needs and desires. As the classes are private, the student will be able to decide the schedule and content.

Would you like to improve your cooking skills besides learning French? French & Cookery it is! You will learn how to prepare a main course with sauces, side dishes and dessert. During this class you will speak French, so you can practice the language during your cooking course!

Besides 20 lessons of French you will have 8 extra lessons of cooking course. The lessons are divided in 2 afternoons/evenings. The cooking lessons usually start at 18:00 at the cooking school close by the French language school.
