Language course English in San Diego

• Ages: 13 -17
• Minimum level: suitable for all levels
• Lessons: 20 lessons per week (17 real hours), plus afternoon cultural workshops (3 hours per week). 8 students average in a class, with a maximum of 10 students.
• Accommodation: Youth Residence, in double bedrooms, with full board (21 meals per week) or host family in double room withs full board.
• Curfew: students cannot leave the campus without supervision.
• Supervision: 24 hours/ 7 days a week.
• Airport transfer: included when stayin in a host family and arriving on saturday/sunday between 09:00 AM and 09:30 PM. When arriving outside these hours or when stayin in the residence this service is NOT included; prices on request
• Social programme: included.

English lessons

The English course offers a complete and thorough academic program consisting of grammar, comprehension, expression, vocabulary building, and fluency development. The course includes 20 lessons per week and afternoon cultural workshops twice a week. In addition to English classes Monday-Friday 9:00am-12:30 pm, on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons 1:30-3:00pm, students will engage in lively discussions and conversation exercises which relate directly to their afternoon/weekend activities.

Social Programme

The school offers a full program of activities designed to help students make friends and practice their English! A variety of interesting and focused afternoon entertainment is provided on the weekdays and a full-day excursion on Saturdays to a variety of attractions.

Students have the possibility after the 1, 2 or 3 week course (intensive of 20 lessons per week), to take a 6 day trip ( 6 nights). During this trip students will visit trip to San Francisco, Carmel, Monterey, Santa Barbara, Malibu and outlet shopping. Harbor Ferry and dinner at Dave and Busters in San Francisco included in price.

During the study tour, there will be no English classes and students will stay in double rooms without meals. The cost of meals is approx. USD 50-060 per day and can be paid at destination by credit card or cash.

Prices of 2, 3 or 4 weeks refer to respectively 1 to 3 weeks of course + 1 week of tour (= 6 days excursion).
