Our partner school CES Edinburgh is located less than a 10-minute walk from Princes Street, the main street of the city, and a 25-minute walk from Edinburgh Castle. It's an ideal location for exploring the city. The school features 12 classrooms, a self-study area, a student lounge, and a garden.

The general English course (called "intensive") consists of 20 or 30 lessons per week. Lessons are mostly focussed on the four crucial skills of speaking, listening, reading, and writing. The 20 lessons per week are designed to make sure you are building your language skills, while gradually increasing your vocabulary and knowledge of grammar at the same time. When choosing 30 lessons per week, you will also be introduced to new learning tools like discussions, role plays, video work and listening exercises.

If you are 50 years or older and want to learn English in Edinburgh with people of your own age, then the Club 50 course is the right choice. This program specifically targets individuals who are young at heart and enjoy taking on new challenges and experiences. The English lessons (20 lesson hours per week) aim to improve daily language usage, while also focusing on English culture, history, cuisine, etc. This 2-week program also includes an extensive activities program and an excursion to make the experience complete.
A minimum level of B1 is required for this course.
Minimum age is 50 years.
The IELTS preparation course will prepare you for the official IELTS exam. The course combines 20 general English classes per week and 10 lessons per week focussed on exam preparation.
