Our partner school in Boston, Kings Education, is located in the historic area of Beacon Hill; a historical and fashionable neighborhood and within walking distance to many landmarks in Downtown Boston.
The school is located on the campus of Fisher College, which gives you the typical American campus student life. There are many facilities right on campus, such as well-equipped classrooms, a reception area, gym, sports hall, library and on-site cafeteria.
There are many different activities organized for students every week. These activities can vary from sports to social- and cultural activities. Here are some examples:
• Walking tours in Boston neighborhoods
• On-campus event
• Museum visits
• Game nights
• Movie nights
• Crafts club
• Outdoor sports club
• Country parties
• Coffee and conversation
• Lunch with your teachers
• Riverboat cruises
In weekends, you can go on an excursion to explore Boston and other destinations! The school can offer excursions to Newport, the beaches of Cape Cod, Niagara Falls, New York City and many more. Of course you can also decide to take yourself or your fellow students on adventures in weekends, you can easily move around with public transport or by hiring a car for the weekend.
The intensive course offers 20 or 28 lessons per week and is mostly focused on the four most important communication skills; speaking, listening, writing and reading. You will improve your English skills and learn to communicatie in an effective way.
Minimum age is 16 years.

The TOEFL course consists of 31 lessons per week. You will follow 20 lessons per week focussed on TOEFL Skills & Strategies, 7 lessons online targeted practice and 4 sessions of guided study. When you want to take the TOEFL exam at the end of the course, please contact us for more information and exam dates.

The business English course combines general English with business Engels. Every week you will follow 20 lessons of general English, focussed on the four most important communication skills; speaking, listening, writing and reading. The other 8 lessons per week are focussed on business English. These lessons will introduce you to essential business terminology relating to the development of small business and start-up culture. You will work on communication skills like formal business writing, giving presentations, and more. Sample topics may be:
• Real-world case studies
• Characteristics of entrepreneurs and leaders in business
• Small-business environment in the US
• How to turn an idea into a business
• Elements of a business plan
• The role of social media
The course also offers a practical aspect, which might be a trip to a local small business or start-up, college business program, or a talk by a local business person. Examples are:
• Babson College
• Buzz Lab at BU
• Taza Chocolates, Johnny Cupcakes or other local start-ups
• Martin Trust Center at MIT
• Innovation and Design Building
• Entrepreneur clubs at other local colleges
