San Sebastián has a lot to offer (city, culture, mountains and the sea) and is the ideal location for junior students to enjoy a Spanish junior course.
The school building for young students is within walking distance of the main building of the language school for adults. Classes for teenagers take place in the “Amara” district, just a short walk from the city centre of San Sebastián. In total, there are 13 fully equipped classrooms, as well as common and study areas. Shops, cafés, and restaurants can be found nearby.
| The social programme which forms part of the intensive (14-17 years) course is a combination of what San Sebastian has to offer: culture, sports, history and events. The programme includes 3 afternoon activities per week and a full day excursion. Examples are: city tours, bike tours, sports activities like zumba and hiking, picnic, visits to amusements parks, cinema at school, scavenger hunt, boat trips and excursions to for example Bilbao and Vitoria. |  |

The day of arrival is Sunday when staying with a host family. The day of departure is Saturday.
Lessons
You will attend 25 lessons per week (Monday to Friday) in an international group of no more than 10 students. The lessons focus on oral communication and the course content is tailored to young people aged 13 to 17. Of the 25 lessons per week, 20 lessons consist of general Spanish tuition and 5 lessons are dedicated to working together with classmates on a project, which will be presented at the end of the week.

Sample of social programme The programme includes 3 afternoon activities and a full-day excursion on Saturday. A member of the language school staff will supervise the activities. You will have 2 free afternoons per week. You can spend these afternoons as you wish or, for an additional fee, take part in surfing lessons. San Sebastián is an ideal destination for a summer course for young people aged 13–17 from all over the world. |
Minimum age is 13 years.
This course combines the intensive course of 25 lessons with 2 surf classes per week (on Tuesday and Thursdays). Surf lessons take place at Zurriola Beach. Surf classes are taught in Spanish or English depending on the level. Students are placed in groups according to their surfing level. All materials are included.
