Italian School in Syracuse
Our partner Italian school in Syracuse, Linguaviva, is located right in the heart of the ancient city, Ortigia and just a few minutes walk away from the sea front.
Every week Linguaviva offers its students in Syracuse a wide programme of activities. Examples include:
Apart from the organised programme, Syracuse itself also offers its visitors a whole host of enjoyable activities. Around the city’s sea walls you will find many cafés where students and locals alike gather to talk and watch the sunset each evening. Syracuse also plays host to a number of exhibitions and cultural events throughout the year.
Learn Italian in Syracuse by taking an intensive course. The intensive course consists of 20 Italian lessons per week with a maximum of 8 students per class. Minimum stay is 2 weeks.

Learn Italian in Syracuse by taking a combined Italian course. The combined Italian course is specially designed for those participants who would like to study in a group, yet at the same time have some individual lessons for their professional or personal needs. With this course you can combine the intensive group course of 20 lessons a week with 5 private lessons a week.

Learn Italian in Syracuse and take an Italian cookery course. In addition to the intensive Italian course, you can book an Italian cookery course which consists of 6 hours of cookery lessons per week. During the course you will learn how to prepare typical Sicilian dishes. Cookery classes are held during the afternoon. There is a maximum of 10 students per class.

Learn Italian in Syracuse and take a photography course. During the mornings you will follow the intensive Italian course, and in the afternoons you will have lessons about photography technics, for example using photoshop, for 10 hours per week. The maximum number of students per class is 10.

Learn Italian in Syracuse and take a painting and drawing course. In the mornings you will follow the intensive Italian course, which consists of 20 hours per week, and in the afternoons you will have lessons about painting and drawing, which consists of 10 hours per week. Beginners will start with the basics of drawing, and will work especially with pencils, ink and charcoal. If you´re not a beginner then you will learn more about working with canvas. The maximum students per class is 10.

Learn Italian in Syracuse and take a history of art and architecture course. IIn addition to the intensive Italian course, which consists of 20 hours per week, you will get an extra 10 hours of lessons per week covering the political history and architecture of Sicily. You can book this course for 2, 3 or 4 weeks. The maximum of students per class is 10.
