Language course French in Aix en Provence

The intensive French course consists of 20 French lessons per week. The classes focus on developing the following:

• Listening and written comprehension
• Speaking  with more confidence and ease
• Communicating in everyday situations
• Extending student’s knowledge of  French politics, social life and culture

The Intensive French course with 30 lessons includes general French lessons in the mornings and theme workshops in the afternoon in which to widen your knowledge about French civilisation and conversation using creative workshops amongst other topics. There are also another 2 additional optional conference lessons per week available to students. Beginners cannot take this course, an intermediate level of French is required.

Minimum age is 18 years.

This course combines an intensive French course (20 lessons per week) with fun excursions to get to know the Provence better. The activities take place in the afternoon after class. The two-week program covers about 20 hours of activity (about 10 hours a week), including:

• A city walk
• Introduction to the traditions and culture of Provence
• Visit to Cézanne's painting studio
• 2 workshops on local products
• 1 half-day excursion to the Mediterranean coast
• 1 full day excursion to the Provence

Minimum age is 18 years.

The DELF preparatory course contains 20 group lessons general French + 4 private lessons exam-preparation per week. We recommend a minimum duration of 4 weeks.

In 2025 the DELF course is offered as a 1 week course. You will follow 16 lessons in one week in a mini group, focussed on exam preparation. We recommend combining this course with the intensive course for a few weeks or months (depending on your level).
