Our partner school in this destination, Brighton Languages ​​College, organizes courses for 13-17 year olds, which include classes, accommodation on a full board basis and a very complete package of activities. Aside from the very popular summer program, this school offers courses and activities in winter and spring too. The school is located in the heart of Brighton, just a 2 minutes walk from Roya Pavillion.

Examples of activities and excursions
Brighton's youth program includes a series of activities and excursions both in the afternoon and in the evening. Here are some examples: ghost tour, visit to Lewes Castle or Brighton Pier, ice skating (in winter), student disco, Marina Boat Trip. On Saturdays, full-day excursions are organized to nearby cities such as London, Cambridge or Oxford.
English classes
The program consists of 20 lessons per week. The first part of the classes is devoted to reinforcing grammatical structures and written expression. Following lessons focus on improving oral expression and listening comprehension. During classes, roll games and dramatization exercises are used and special emphasis is placed on oral communication.
The class schedule varies by week: one week you will have morning classes and afternoon activities, and the following week, you will start with activities in the morning and you will have classes in the afternoon.

The super intensive course consists of 35 lessons per week and is only available to students aged 14-17 years old. This course will focus on offering students the opportunity to explore and improve areas in critical thinking, communication, negotiation, problem solving, debating and more; through case studies, research projects, team building activities and reflective thinking lessons. To participate in this case, a minimum level of intermediate (B1) is necessary.

Are you looking for an English program for juniors, combined with football training? If so, Brighton's English & Football course is an ideal option.
Ages: 13-17
Minimum level: from elementary to advanced
Lessons: 20 English lessons per week (15 real hours), from Monday to Friday. And 10 hours of football training per week. There is a maximum of 18 students per class (14 average)
Accommodation: host family, shared room with full board (breakfast and dinner in the family + lunch at school)
Curfew:
-13-15 years old students must be home before 22:00
-16-17 years old students must be home before 23:00
Supervision: during lessons, activities and in accommodation

Football training
Football training will take place in the home city of Premier League football club, Brighton & Hove Albion. Brighton & Hove Albion Foundation is the official charity of Brighton & Hove Albion FC and has teamed up with the language school to create a unique, high-quality football and English language course. The football programme is designed around a 2-week course to help players develop essential communication skills both on and off the field in an authentic football environment. The course is available for boys and girls aged 13-17 years old. The program focuses on a wide range of skills, drills, and tactics while the aim is to challenge the techniques essential to a player’s development. In addition, there are two STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics) seminars which blend football and robotics to create fun, interactive sessions.

Brighton's youth package also includes a program of activities and excursions, however: because of the football training this course option includes less activities than the other English programs without football.
