CISL San Diego is located on Broadway Street in Downtown San Diego, in the city’s fashionable Gaslamp District. The school’s modern facilities and bright classrooms provide students a welcoming environment; when class is not in session, students interact with friends in the expansive student lounge or take advantage of CISL’s state-of-the-art computer lab.
Commitment to small class sizes
The school commits to maintaining small classes. Because of the small class sizes the teachers have the time to help you learn English in the best possible way. The limited class sizes are important to the school as it ensures that you, as a student, will feel comfortable and confident. All of which will help you learn both faster and better.
Converse organises a number of extra-curricular activities outside of lesson time for you to enjoy whilst you learn English in San Diego. Taking part in these activities is an ideal opportunity to make new friends and practise what has been learnt at school. Example activities include:
The intensive course consists of 20 or 28 lessons per week (1 lesson = 50 minutes). The course combines grammar, vocabulary building, reading, writing, listening and speaking skills. Small classes guarantee that you will receive a high level of personal attention and maximum learning opportunities. The goal of the course is to help students use English with accuracy and confidence. Students improve their general English language skills and, just as importantly, how to use English in different situations, how to interact with people from different cultures, and how to be better language learners.
Minimum age is 17 years.

This course consists of 20 lesson hours per week and is specially designed for motivated students and business professionals who want to focus on the skills needed to effectively conduct business in English. The classes are very small, with a maximum of 4 students per class.
This course is designed to address a variety of real-life business situations, as well as writing skills for business reports, giving presentations, conducting meetings, and handling negotiations.

The one-to-one course is based on the student´s linguistic skills, his or her professional or social needs and personal expectations. Flexibility is the main feature of this course. As the only student in class you decide the content of the course. The one-to-one course is recommended above all for students with only a short amount of time available. During 2 weeks you will receive 20 private lessons per week.
