The accommodation in a host family is a great way to immerse yourself into English language and culture and get to know everyday life in England, which makes it an even more effective way of improving your English skills. You will be accommodated in carefully inspected host families, sharing a room with another student of the same gender and another nationality. Some hosts can accommodate more students at the same time. The maximum number of students sharing a host family at the same time is four. You will receive three meals per day (a packed lunch by the host from Monday to Saturday) and the host will provide towels, bedding and a weekly laundry service.
Students will be either walking to school or driven both to and from school (usually for the younger ones). Time to school is a maximum of 30 minutes and there are no extra costs for being driven by the host. If walking, hosts will accompany on the first day to make sure students are comfortable with the walk.
"I had the best summer ever!"
