The junior programme in Bury St. Edmunds takes place in a large Victorian villa with a very special charm in a quiet residential part of the city. It has 8 classrooms and a spacious garden with areas for students to relax between lessons. The relatively small school in a safe and tradtitional English market town, offers the ideal location for young students to learn English and meet other students from all over the worlds!
Minimum age is 10 years.
The accommodation in a host family is a great way to immerse yourself into English language and culture and get to know everyday life in England, which makes it an even more effective way of improving your English skills. You will be accommodated in carefully inspected host families, sharing a room with another student of the same gender and another nationality. Some hosts can accommodate more students at the same time. The maximum number of students sharing a host family at the same time is four. You will receive three meals per day (a packed lunch by the host from Monday to Saturday) and the host will provide towels, bedding and a weekly laundry service.
Students will be either walking to school (max. 30 minutes) or driven both to and from school (usually for the younger ones).
