The route takes you through the typical Tuscan countryside regions of Casentino and Chianti, through small towns and villages such as Castelfranco di Sopra. San Giovanni is home to some lovely shops, where you can stroll around the markets and pick up some local bargains. Later on you can stop for a coffee in a cosy backstreet café or sample the delights of the local cuisine. San Giovanni really is an ideal study destination.
