Milan offers an array of cultural events for students to enjoy, including concerts, operas in 'La Scala' and theatrical performances. The school keeps students informed about upcoming events to ensure that nobody misses out on anything. Intensive

The intensive course in Milan is an excellent way of improving quicky and consists of 20 or 30 hours per week. There is a maximum of 14 students in each class, with a minimum stay of 2 weeks.

Combined

The combined course is specially designed for those participants who would like to study in a group, yet at the same time have private lessons for their professional or personal needs.

30 lessons per week with 20 lessons in a group and 10 private lessons. You can focus on business Italian during your one-to-one lessons for a supplement.

Italian & fashion

In Italy´s fashion capital Milan, our partner school & Istituto Carlo Secoli offers a 4-week intensive programme combining an Italian language course in the morning with fashion design courses in the afternoon. The courses are open to participants wishing to get in touch with the world of Italian fashion and to specialize in the design process of a collection over a short period of time.

The course in fashion design offers students the techniques needed to correctly draw fashion sketches as well as express a creative idea; following some basic rules such as proportions, precision, colour harmony and attention to detail. The students will learn to create a fashion collection, with fashion sketches and technical drawings. This program is suitable for participants with possess a basic to intermediate knowledge of fashion design. No previous experience in fashion is requested.

The course includes 20 Italian language lessons + 8 fashion design lessons per week. The fashion programme is held in Italian, therefore to attend this course a basic knowledge of Italian is required.

Minimum age is 18 years .

The one-to-one course is designed for those who want to optimise their study time or have very specific needs when it comes to learning Italian. The aim of the one-to-one course is to offer a fully personalised method of teaching designed to meet the specific student's needs and desires. As the classes are private, the student will be able to decide the schedule and content.

There is a supplement if you want to focus on business Italian.

Shared apartment

The shared apartment option is for students who want to be more independent by renting a room in a flat shared with other students. You have complete freedom and are not expected to join in family life. You can choose a single or a twin room in a completely furnished flat with 3 or more bedrooms, kitchen and bathroom to be shared with other students. Sheets and towels provided.

Double rooms are only available for two people travelling together. Please contact us for availability of the doublerooms as there is a limited number of them.

The minimum age to stay in the apartment is 18.

Host Family

Staying with a host family is ideal for students who wish to experience Italian daily life and to practice the language in an informal atmosphere. The host family accommodation consists of young or older couples, either with or without children, single parent families and people living alone. Naturally it will take a little time to settle in and get used to your new environment, but it will be without doubt an interesting experience.

If you choose no meals for your stay, you are allowed to use the kitchen of the family. Please confirm this with the family on your arrival.

There is only a limited number of double rooms available and you can only book them if you are travelling together with another person. Please contact us for availability.

Students under 18 have to stay in a host family with half board.

Budget Residence

The residence is located 30 minutes by public transport from the city centre and 20 minutes from the school, just a few stops from Corso Buenos Aires, one of Milan´s famous shopping streets. The residence has 56 single which are equipped with a bed, desk and a closet. You have a private bathroom and the rooms have air conditioning / heating. There are 4 communal kitchens facilities and living areas on every floor. Please note that kitchen utilities such as pots,pans and dishes are not provided by the residence. The residence also has a roof terrace and a snack bar with separate entrance and garden where they serve hot meals and sandwiches. These meals are not included in the price but are offered at a reasonable price from 4 to 10 Euros per meal, beverages included.

Furthermore, there is free wifi Internet. The facilities of the residence also include washing machines and dryers (pay per use). Towels and bed linen are provided. One time per week the bed linen and towels will be changed and your room will be cleaned.

The minimum age for the stay in the residence is 18 years.

Comfort residence

The residence is located 30 minutes by public transport from the city centre and 20 minutes from the school, just a few stops from the Stazione Centrale (central train station). The residence has 80 rooms in total which are equipped with a bed, desk and a wardrobe.

Furthermore, there is a gym, free wifi Internet and a self-service restaurant where you can buy a meal for approx. € 6,- to € 10,-. A common kitchen is not available in this residence. The facilities of the residence also include washing machines and dryers (pay per use). Towels and bed linen are provided.
