Our partner school, International House Belfast, is located in the same area as the university, at University street which is about 10 minutes walking distance from the city centre. The school is located in a lively area with lots of shops, restaurants and bars, which caters mainly for students, since they counter for a large majority of Belfast’s inhabitants. The intensive English course in Belfast consists of 20 or 25 lessons per week of General English which focusses on essential points of language such as grammar, vocabulary, conversation, listening and writing.

The Commercial English course in Belfast combines an intensive course of 20 lessons with 5 private lessons which can focuss on for example real life business scenarios such as: presentations , telephoning and conference calls, meetings and negotiations, writing emails and reports and social networking.

The one-to-one English course is a great way of improving quickly. Along with an experienced native teacher, the classes are adapted to suit the needs of the student and give them the opportunity to choose something in particular that they would like to study. The number of lessons can also be adapted to suit the student, but are normally 20 per week.

The shared apartments are located in a newly built block of apartments and is situated in a quiet street just around the corner from the language school (Sandhurst House). It is an ideal location, as it is only a few seconds away from the school and at the same time near the University District, which is full of shops, bars, restaurants, etc. The city centre and all main bus stations and train stations are within walking distance.
The building is completely new and finished to a very high standard and consists of various 2 bedroom apartments (including fridge, washing machine, TV, oven and dishwasher).
The building also has wi-fi and is a non-smoking accommodation.
Your stay will be in a single room and you will share the apartment with 1 other student. The common areas such as the toilet, kitchen and living room are shared. Each student will have its own shower. The language school always tries to match stays for students who speak different languages.

In July and August you can stay in a single-room at the Queen's Elms University Halls of Residence. The residence is located in a nice student area less than 20 minutes walking distance from the school. The residence is, futher, located close to the vibrant Lisburn Road, which is full of shops, cafés and restaurants. Botanic avenue, which is a local student hotspot, is also a mere 20 minute walk away.
All bedrooms have full access to fully-equipped kitchen and bathroom facilities. Each hall has a comfortable common room and fully equipped laundry facilities.
The single use apartments are located in the same building as the shared apartments. It is a newly built block of apartments and is situated in a quiet street just around the corner from the language school (Sandhurst House).
