Bocas del Toro is the name of the province. It consists of dozens of islands with a high diversity of plants and animals. The green islands are surrounded by turquoise sea and together with the white sandy beaches, it offers a spectacular view. The main island is Isla Colon, and from there you can take the water taxi, or join organized excursions, to explore the bays, beaches and islands. This is one of the must-sees if you make a trip through Central America and a resting place for backpackers. It has a relaxed atmosphere and if you want to combine your Spanish course with snorkeling, diving, surfing and enjoying the sun, beach and sea, then this is the place-to-be. You can search starfishes at Playa de la Estrella, watch dolphins at Dolphin Bay, watch the surfers at Playa Bluff and maybe see a sloth hanging somewhere in the tree. A true paradise!
