The Golden Age course programme is specially designed for older students who are interested in language and culture. It is a course of two weeks, with 20 lessons per week of language tuition and an acitvity program which consists of:

Italian & cookery

This course combines the intensive course with a cookery course. The cooking lessons  take place on two afternoons per week and focus on regional Italian cuisine. The skilled Italian chef will help you prepare a variety of delicious local dishes, which you will then eat with the other participantst accompanied by a class of excellent wine.

Italian, gastromy and wine

This course introduces you to the best that Italy has to offer! The program consists of two weeks with 20 Italian language lessons per week and an extensive activity and excursion program. The lessons take place in the morning and the activities take place in the afternoon. The activities include lessons on traditional cooking of Campania and lessons on the traditional wines of Campania. The program also includes one day excursion (in the weekend), one city tour and one special visit with tasting.

Italian New Year Program

The New Year Program combines an Italian Course with the possibility of enjoying the celebrations in Salerno, with events, activities, excursions, special visits and seminars. Participants, from minimum 16 years old, are placed in different study groups and they attend Italian Language Course for 4 lessons a day (h 9.00 – 12.30), on 4 days a week, in combination with a series of high-impact leisure and cultural activities. The activities that are included, are:

  • Excursion to Naples: monumental city + S. Gregorio Armeno
  • Excursion to Salerno: guiden city tour - Luci D'Artista walk
  • Wine Tasting
  • Excursion to Vietri: the capital of ceramics + practical ceramic lesson
  • Seminar "Christmas recipes" + Christmas cake tasting
  • Excursion to Pompeii: archeological site and ruins

Please note that the program is from Monday January 1 until Saturday January 6 (included). When you book accommodation, please make sure to stay until Sunday January 7. Price extra night on request.

On December 31 there is an optional New Year's Eve dinner at a restaurant (not included in the price).
