Language course English in Nottingham

• Ages: 10 -17
• Minimum level: suitable for all levels
• Lessons: 20 lessons per week (each lesson = 55 minutes).
• Maximum. nr. of students per class: 15
• Accommodation: Youth Residence, in single bedrooms, shared bathroom, with full board.
• Curfew: students cannot leave the campus without supervision. They must be in their rooms before 22.30, after the last social activity of the day. Lights out at 23.00.
• Supervision: 24 hours/ 7 days a week.
• Airport transfer:  not included (compulsory service if students travel alone), please see rates on our online price list.

English lessons

The youth course takes place in the University of Nottingham Campus. The campus, where you will stay and where the lessons will take place, is surrounded by a park of over 100 acres. The group is split into two age categories: 10-12 years and 13-17 years. The campus capacity is 170 students and it has excellent sports facilities, such as various playing fields and an indoor pool. A full afternoon and evening activity programme is included, as well as several excursions per week. The minimum course duration is 1 week (arrival and departure on Sunday).

Sample of the social programme

• Two full-day and two half-day excursions per week, these may include Leicester, London, Oxford, Manchester, York, Birmingham, Stratford upon Avon and Cambridge.
• Full afternoon and evening activity programme; including a variety of sports (e.g. football and swimming) discos, film nights, karaoke, talent shows, football, bowling and visits to local attractions such as Nottingham Castle.

Minimum age is 10 years.
