The Academic Semester Program in London is a quite new program. For this it does not only focus on the development of the students' communicative skills, but it also provides a very broad and realistic vision of what it means to live abroad. It is therefore a course that prepares the students for future employment or studies in an English-speaking country.
The program consists of 20 lessons per week (1 lesson = 60 minutes) with a duration of 16, 20 or 24 weeks. Apart from learning to fluently speak the language, the student has the opportunity to take part in the preparation for a specific exam, such as Cambridge or IELTS, if he reaches the required level herefor.
Minimum age is 16 years.

If you would prefer to have private tutoring from a teacher in the school, you can do so with the one to one course. The course curriculum meets your individual level, interests and occupation as you can agree with the teacher the class content to best suit your wants and needs.

You can stay with an English family in London, in Zone 3 (without meals but with use of the kitchen or with half board, for a surcharge). The families have single and double rooms (double rooms can be booked only for two people travelling together.
You will share the bathroom and the communal areas with the family. These host families are at about 45-60 minutes distance to the school by public transport, the average is 45 minutes.
If you would like to stay in a host family in zone 1 or 2, a surcharge applies, please see price list.
You can stay with an English family in London, in Zone 4-5 (without meals but with use of the kitchen or with half board, for a surcharge).
The families have single and double rooms (double rooms can be booked only for two people travelling together).
You will share the bathroom and the communal areas with the family. These host families are at about 30-60 minutes distance to the school by public transport.
Malvern House works with several summer residences in zone 1 of London. These are student houses or villas where the rooms are in a shared apartment between 4 and 11 students. The fully equipped kitchen and kitchen utensils are shared. You can book a single or double room. If you book a double room, it will be shared with another student.
Distance to school: 35-45 minutes by public transport. We recommend booking this type of accommodation well in advance, as it is in high demand.
The summer residence opens from June to the end of September.
The schools residence is centrally located in London Zone 1, in the same building as the school! The residence offers single or twin rooms with private bathroom and is based on self catering. Each room has its own kitchenette with fridge, hob & microwave.
Facilities in the residence include: a café, a gym, large common areas, study spaces, a movie room and laundry. There are a multitud of cafes, bars and restaurants a short walk away.
The minimum age for the accommodation in the residence is 18 years and the minimum duration is 2 weeks.
