The DELE (Diploma for Spanish as a Foreign Language) is the only official certificate for foreign students to be recognized by the Instituto Cervantes. The diploma is a real asset for students who wish to study at Spanish universities or would like to work in a Spanish speaking country.

The specific aim of this 4 or 5 week DELE course (20 lessons per week) is to prepare students to pass the DELE exam at one of the following levels:

• Nivel Inicial: Certificate of an elementary level of Spanish
• Nivel Intermedio: Diploma of an intermediate level of Spanish

We strongly recommend a minimum age of 16 years old when considering taking a DELE course as they are very intensive and move rapidly. The exams are scheduled by the government and typically take place in May and November each year. The exact dates and cost of the DELE exams are established by the Instituto Cervantes.
