In order to undertake this course you should be of at least intermediate-level German. The purpose of the course is to sufficiently improve the level of German and linguistic ability in order to later teach what has been learned. All necessary materials and teaching methods are explained in depth to ensure success. Moreover, information on German literature and the history of Germanic speaking countries is given.

Course Programme:

• Grammar revision
• Improve the capacity of the participants’ oral expression
• Writing texts of a diverse nature
• Improve German spelling
• Presentation of new didactic methods
• Ways of teaching vocabulary and grammar, including games
• Use of audiovisual materials
• Reading techniques
• Germanic culture and civilisation
• The study of Germanic literature
  

To complement the course there is a program of extra-curricular activities 2-3 times per week: city walks, lectures on a variety of diverse topics, film showings, a visit to Heuriger, welcome parties and optional weekend excursions.

The course of 30 lessons per week also includes 10 individual lessons of didactic and methodical teacher training.
