Academic year
The academic year course (22 or 33 weeks) is a comprehensive language programme which will help you achieve internationally recognised exam qualifications. During an academic year abroad, focused language teaching and academic subjects will fast-track your learning. You'll gain fluency, achieve valuable qualifications and can opt to progress to a university degree course.
Your progress will be monitored through a series of assignments and both oral and written exams each term. Each student will have a personalised study plan. Regular interviews, assessments and studytime in the computer laboratory will supplement your lessons.
The academic year course is designed to integrate with preparation for internationally recognised examinations as Cambridge, TOEFL and IELTS.
At the end of the academic year course you will receive a full written Academic Assessment and Report, in addition to the Diploma of English for University and Further Education.
This typical English city is alive because of its students and there are so many activities. My English has improved a lot and I especially enjoyed the afternoon lessons of the 30-hour intensive course, making an already interesting programme even better. I know much more about the English language and culture and the class presentations by other students gave me a glimpse of other cultures as well. I can recommend a language course in Oxford to everyone!
