This 2-week course is aimed at students who wish to improve their English and explore the Ireland's culinary tradition.

English & cookery combines an intensive course with 3 lessons to practice the language of cooking and the kitchen and one taste of Ireland 3 course meal demonstration & sampling.

There is an introduction to local ingredients and recipes and a look at the evolution of modern Irish cuisine. On the fourth session students attend a cookery demonstration and enjoy a meal that they have helped prepare.

By the end of the course the student will be comfortable with the language of cookery and the kitchen, they will have an understanding of Irish cuisine and will know how to prepare two, three course Irich meals.

Intermediate level required.
