The Cambridge exam course in Edinburgh prepares you in 2, 4 or 9 weeks for one of the three different exams / levels: FCE (First Certificate), CAE (Certificate in Advanced English) y CPE (Certificate of Proficiency in English). The Cambridge exam course in Edinburgh prepares you in 2, 4, 9 or 12 weeks for one of the three different exams / levels: FCE (First Certificate), CAE (Certificate in Advanced English) y CPE (Certificate of Proficiency in English). The 12 week preperation course comprises 8 weeks of General English followed by 4 weeks of specific exam preperation. The 2 and 4 week courses are therefore simply exam preperation without the General English beforehand. They are therefore more suited to students who, as you say, have a higher level of English to start with. During the 4-week course, students will normally study exam specific material in the mornings (20 lessons per week) and then General English in the afternoon (10 lessons per week)

The course consists of 30 lessons per week in classes with a maximum of 12 participants. Emphasis lies on the language and examination skills necessary for the 5 different parts of the exam, namely: Reading, Writing, Use of English, Listening and Speaking.
