Held in a great location in Cambridge the youth course (14-18 years) combines morning lessons (4 hours per day) with a range of activities, sports, parties and excursions in the afternoons, evenings and weekends. It's a great way of combining your English studies with sight-seeing and a lot of fun. The youth course has a duration of 2 to 4 weeks with 20 lessons per week. Groups have a maximum of 15 students. The lessons take place at a different location than the adult courses. You can choose to stay at the school residence (in the same building where the lessons take place) or with a host family. The minimum age to stay in the school residence is 16 years.
Seen from a “punt” (an open flatbottom boat with squared ends, used in shallow waters and usually propelled by a long pole), Cambridge is a revelation indeed. This way, you get to see Cambridge literally in a completely different light. Leaning back, I imagined myself basking in the tranquillity of yesteryears, the cosy atmosphere and the sight of those impressive buildings!
