Living with a host family provides the unique opportunity to experience the Maltese culture first hand by living as a Maltese and participating in the customs and traditions of Malta. Your stay is in a single or double room with half board. Students who live with host families find their English improves dramatically through conversation and daily involvement with their host family. Maltese families offer students an English language immersion experience while providing them with the security and friendliness of a family home. This is especially important for students living away from home for the first time.

The host families are carefully interviewed and selected prior to student placement and are monitored throughout the period of the students' stay. For the students' added convenience host families are located in close proximity to the school and to major bus routes. All host families are carefully researched in order to make the students' stay as enjoyable as possible.

In the summer it is possible that 3 youth course-students are placed in 1 room. It is not always possbile to inform you about this in advance. The rooms are approved for 3 persons by the Maltese Tourist Board. The price for a triple room is the same as the price for a double room.
