The DELE exam 'Diploma de Español como Lengua Extranjera' (Diplomas of Spanish as a Foreign Language) is the official certificate of the fluency of the Spanish language. The DELE examination exists of the following parts:

• 40 minutes reading comprehension
• 50 minutes written paper
• 30 minutes listening comprehension
• 40 minutes grammar and vocabulary
• 10 minutes oral skills

Nivel intermedio
• 60 minutes reading comprehension
• 60 minutes written paper
• 30 minutes listening comprehension
• 60 minutes grammar and vocabulary
• 10-15 minutes oral skills

Nivel superior
• 60 minutes reading comprehension
• 60 minutes written paper
• 35 minutes listening comprehension
• 60 minutes grammar and vocabulary
• 10-15 minutes oral skills

Above mentioned exam parts are held one day. You have the pass all five parts to get the DELE diploma.

The DELE exam is the only recognized diploma Spanish for those who have another native language than Spanish.
