Golden Age
As the world changes and people retire earlier, they have more time available to enjoy life and where better to do so than in Málaga! The golden age course is designed especially for these retired people who now have the time to enjoy travelling, getting to know people from all over the world and learning new things - languages, traditions, customs, cultures, etc. This course combines language learning with social and cultural activities designed to help you to get to know the customs and traditions of Málaga and Andalucía and your fellow course participants. The golden age course is offered at 3 broad levels: beginner, intermediate and advanced and consists of 3 lessons per day plus the activities programme mentioned above. The duration is 2 weeks. The teaching methodology of the golden age course is very different to that of the other courses and takes into account the interests and special needs of the course participants. The focus is on practical Spanish to enable the participants to use Spanish in the typical situations they will encounter in everyday life such as: asking for directions, introducing yourself, ordering drinks or food in a restaurant, renting a car or booking a hotel room, buying food in the market etc.
This is a very special programme which is attracting more and more people every year from an increasing number of countries. Come and join them, you won’t regret it!
Student's View Those lessons in Malaga were all but easy! It required a great deal of
concentration to get hold of the rhythm. Every now and then we had spontaneous
fits of laughter! After two weeks however, we were able to give a small
“presentation”. I absolutely fell in love with Malaga and the Spanish
language.
