How does the COMENUIS programme support teachers?
Teachers of foreign languages have the opportunity to take a special teacher course abroad. These courses are aimed at further training teachers to improve their methodology and didactics. Another possibility is to take general language courses in order to improve the “main” languages of English, French, Spanish or German or get to know an less known language.
What does the scholarship consist of?
The Comenius programme is offered and endorsed by the European Union therefore, the European commission offers financial help, and these finances cover:
- The return trip
- Lodging expenses (maintenance and accommodation), depending on the country you choose to go to
- costs for the language course
- Academic fees
The exact amount of the finance is allocated per person based on the length of time you do the course, which is 40 hours in total or a month of participation. The minimum stay is 2 weeks and you can do up to 12 weeks. Of course, the longer you stay the more financial help you get to cover your travel and accommodation costs.

You can chose any of our language courses that fulfils the requirements for the scholarship: All together you have to take 40 lessons or do one month of language course. Those hours are confirmed by the certificate of attendance you receive from our partner schools at the end of your language course.
Some of our partner schools already have a registration number for the COMENUIS programme, but this is not necessary to receive the scholarship. The number just simplifies the process of granting by the EU.
On our website you can find all our intensive courses of at least 20 lessons per week in a lot of destinations in the EU.
